The greatest conflict in the world today is the dichotomy of the individual and the egotistical androtheist. I define androtheism as the belief in man as god. I am not talking merely of the struggle between capitalists and Statists. It is not merely Left versus Right. But it also includes the cultural battle with radical Islam. Shari’a is the part of Islam that restricts the liberties of the individual for a perceived greater good. Meanwhile, the Bill of Rights restricts the liberties of the government. This is a political dichotomy, either restrict the individual or restrict the government. Ultimately this dichotomy is based upon either the adherence to God or the adherence to Man as a god.

When the United States became independent of Great Britain, there was a reversal in the power structure. In Great Britain, power came from the Creator to the monarch (who was the government) and the individual was at the bottom of the power totem pole. Our Founding Fathers established and fully intended the opposite. The individual was granted power from his Creator over the government. Government is supposed to be subservient to the individual. They fully intended the Bill of Rights to limit the power of Government by those who would use it to abridge the individual’s rights; those usurpers I come to realize are egotistical androtheists.

By changing law and political sentiment, Progressives in the United States are successfully reversing the power structure that our Founders put in place. It won’t be long before we are controlled by the same tyranny as the American colonists were. Androtheists believe that the common individual is not educated enough to make decisions; they deny the existence of the power given to the individual by his Creator.

The androtheist denies the existence of the Creator and in His place the androtheist institutes beliefs in technology, multiculturalism and his perception of the common good; all of these are man-made. The androtheist believes that only those who have discovered (or have been enlightened to) the fact that their belief in man as god are truly worthy of being in power. Along with this belief is the idea that man-made things (such as described at the beginning of the paragraph) that come from “enlightened” ones are intrinsically good and enduring and the truth.

Through egotistical androtheism Man can come to realize his own divinity and in doing so have power over those who are not in the same way “educated” or “enlightened”. If you put the human characteristic of egotism in this mix, you have few who have power and money and the idea that they are the ones to progress mankind into the future. In this light, they consider themselves Progressive.

It is almost impossible to distinguish between the egotistical androtheist and his subject (slave). Both outwardly espouse the ideals of socialism, but one is an activist for the man-made farces and the other uses the first as a tool. A perfect example is the egotistical androtheist Fidel Castro and his tool, the Socialist Che Guevara.

The Progressive President Barack Hussein Obama offers some insight into the master-slave relationship. President Obama has bowed before both Arab and Japanese aristocracy. No United States President should bow to a Crown. This was a precedent set by President George Washington. This may be a sign of servitude (the President as a tool) or acknowledgment of a colleague (androtheist to androtheist) where both acknowledge a mutual deity.

Progressive President Barack Hussein Obama has lamented “…that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. It says what the states can’t do to you. It says what the federal government can’t do to you, but it doesn’t say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf.” The “you” in his comments are those who he believes cannot think for themselves; the unenlightened, the ones who do not believe that man can be a god, those who believe in the Creator. In the President’s statement I infer he believes that the government through its authority granted by those man-gods in power must have the liberty to make decisions and take care of the common people. Progressive belief is truly elitism and it leads to the establishment of the American Crown.

By limiting Government, the Bill of Rights limits the authority of the American Crown and its tyranny; the Crown’s ability to subdue the limits of government must be stopped.

The American Crown, unlike the British Crown, is not a monarchial institution. It is not a conspiratorial institution or small group that meets in secret to rule the world. To think secret organizations are the only ones pulling the strings is short-sighted and dangerous. The American Crown is a body of like Progressive minds resident in the American political system.

The egotistical androtheists are not a part of a secret group of rich white men who sit around a marble table in a castle somewhere in Europe and plot and scheme and pull the strings of the governments of the world. They are not necessarily only the freemasons; they are not limited to Skull and Bones members; this is not about secret organizations. They may be all adherents to androtheism.

Like the British Crown, the American Crown must be defeated and the yoke of their burdens upon us must be thrown off. The American Crown is comprised of both Democrat and Republican. Political parties have no constructive role in an individualist and free nation. We must vote for the individual. But most importantly we must VOTE and expose fraudulent organizations bent on stealing elections!

The most effective way the American Crown can be weakened is to vote them out of office. The new individualist politician must weed out the Socialist once in government. Government agencies must be wiped clean; clearing house is needed when it’s infected. But an individualist can be poisoned by the office and its perks. Therefore, term limits must be in place; there is no reason that Congressmen should be in office for decades. It is impossible for a human being to be “in power” for that long and still be in touch with his constituents and not drink from the Kool-Aid of the American Crown.

The British Crown used taxation, deprivation of due process and coercion to subdue the common people of the colonies. The American Crown is considerably more cunning and as Progressives they create Cults and Crises to abuse the common individual such as Death, Environment, Social Justice, Unionization, Globalization, Nationalization, Outlaw Community Organizations and Political Illusion. And it could be said taxation is a common thread between the two Crowns. The only Crown with true power is the one made of thorns; all others are usurpations. The American Crown will try to distract the individual’s belief in a Creator with Cults that will supplant God with the Socialist’s creations.

One might say: “I am an atheist. There is no God.” Atheists have fallen for the lies of the Socialist. For if there is no Creator, the individual has no authority over the Progressive and his government. It is clear; without the Creator, independence is futile.

Without the strong and vibrant American individual and his freedom, the world may be doomed to be overrun by the Socialist and Tyrant. Socialism in its many incarnations such as communism, despotism, Marxism and Shari’a will doom humanity to subservience to the man-god.

Governance

The Socialist utilizes all types of governance to carry out their struggle against individualism and to “save” the unenlightened against their own ignorance.

Despotism is the simplest form of Socialist utopia. Despotism is a form of governance in which a Socialist with an enormous ego, with the belief that he is the only man who is enlightened to the androtheism. This belief does not preclude the lack of other gods; in fact, most early despots include themselves as a part of the pantheon.

Monarchy is a form of governance similar to despotism. One could say that a monarchy is a despotic state in which the ruler is restricted by laws or precedent. The egotistical Socialist (ruler) is limited in his authority by a parliament. The problem with this is that power still descends from the monarch. Ultimately, the monarch allows the individual to have a say.

Democracy is a process of ruling in which the citizenry have the power to make decisions. This allows for the individual to have a say…but a democracy alone is not enough. Unchecked democracy is prone to manipulation by the Progressive.

Republic is a form of governance that together with democracy encapsulates the American form of government. The United States is a republic with the ideology of individualism. Not all republics are the same. The Soviet Union was a republic of a communistic ideology.

The Cult of Death

Remember that Socialists adhere to the whims of the androtheist. These egotistical androtheists believe that a way to lessen the perceived negative effects of the unenlightened is to utilize negative eugenics in a way to keep their population in check. The key component in this is abortion.

The most infamous name in this category is Margaret Higgins Sanger who wrote:

“It is a vicious cycle; ignorance breeds poverty and poverty breeds ignorance. There is only one cure for both, and that is to stop breeding these things. Stop bringing to birth children whose inheritance cannot be one of health or intelligence. Stop bringing into the world children whose parents cannot provide for them. Herein lies the key of civilization. For upon the foundation of an enlightened and voluntary motherhood shall a future civilization emerge.”

While Margaret Sanger may not have been a racist, she was definitely against the poor and feeble as evidenced by her statement in 1915. “Poverty” are the poor and “these things” are poor people. She explains this idea more specifically in the next sentence. Progressives use abortion as a tool to suppress the common folk in numbers.

You might ask yourself, why would an androtheist advocate the lessening of a population? Wouldn’t that be deicide? You must understand that an egotistical androtheist (Socialist) believes that only those who are enlightened are gods; androtheism does not believe itself to be inherent.

Margaret Sanger later on helped to start what would become Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood’s sole purpose is to make every person wanted. All the others must die.

Now, when they speak of the “individual” they really mean only those who have fully and entirely passed through the birth canal. The Progressive has used the faulty logic of abortion to dupe millions in America to believe that abortion is okay. Abortion advocates have hijacked the vocabulary in the abortion debate and have made abortion very sanitized and commonplace.

When the abortion advocate speaks of protecting a woman’s right to choose, a woman’s right to privacy, a woman’s reproductive rights or termination of a pregnancy, they really mean feticide. Just as in homicide, it is the killing of an individual.

When the abortion advocate speaks of making sure that every person being born is wanted. It is only logical to conclude from this thinking that unwanted individuals will be terminated through an abortion. This word-play by abortion advocates plays on everyone’s need to be wanted. Let’s ask the millions of American couples who spend tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours trying to conceive a child through unnatural means such as in-vitro fertilization or medication. Ask the American couples spending tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of their time trying to adopt children in China, they make every child conceived in the United State wanted. Abortion makes these couples’ dreams even that more difficult to achieve; and it decimates abortion advocates’ claim of an “unwanted pregnancy”, especially in today’s world of instant connectedness.

When the abortion advocate speaks of the viability of the fetus, their logic is flawed. At ten weeks of pregnancy, the human has all of his organs and his heart is pumping. In all practical purposes, the ten week human is similar to that of an adult human who, while in a coma, is hooked up to machines who feed and nourish him. The initial “cluster of cells”—as many abortion advocates like to call him—is a distinct human individual with unique DNA. From the moment of conception until the chord is cut, the human inside the mother is an individual hooked up to a life support system known as a placenta and amniotic sac.

I suppose the abortion advocate believes an individual only an individual until the chord is cut; just like an egotistical androtheist believing one as god only until they realize it and they cut the cord to the Creator.

When the abortion advocate speaks, he reveals himself as a tool of the Progressive. When an abortionist (abortion doctor is an oxymoron considering all they do is kill humans) performs an abortion they are essentially ripping a human off of life-support in a violent and macabre manner.

When the abortion advocate speaks of reproductive rights of women, they really mean the mother, which illogically disregards the right of the individual to live. In this logic these advocates should applaud Indian women for aborting their daughters because of the tradition of India and the economics of having a female; but they’ll approve of the elective abortion but say their not for gender-based abortion.

Each individual from the moment of conception is “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. “ Without a respect for Life, civilization is impossible and if already existent can only degrade.

The Progressive and his tool will deny an individual’s right to life or conveniently use fuzzy logic to tolerate abortion and uses fancy word-play only to cheapen the life of the chorded helpless human and their own. A person cannot put a value on himself, only someone else can and ultimately we are all priceless and invaluable because the Creator made us all; the Founding Fathers had this in mind.

We must shed light on abortion and show people what it truly is. We must lead people through the fuzzy logic and engage them in common sense. Abortion advocates are blind to the science of human embryology and its ethical ramifications.

The recent debate (or lack thereof) over the Affordable Health Care for America Act (the health care bill), has stirred up a big stink. The bill’s sponsors are all Democrat and come from the likes of California, New Jersey and New York. There are provisions in what will be the final bill that will provide elective abortions through taxpayer money. Our tax dollars will go to fund abortions. I cringe to think that many life-loving, Christian, individuals would vote for a President that will sign this into law. Every voter who voted for the Progressive President Barack Hussein Obama has caused my money to fund the killing of innocence and the blood of millions of individuals is on their hands.

The most notable proponent of negative eugenics today is Jack Kevorkian whose medical license was revoked in 1991 (he is not a doctor). Kevorkian’s approach is through the euthanasia (misnomer) of the elderly and terminally ill. I find the fuzzy logic funny because technically every human on earth is going to be elderly or terminal, eventually.

The Progressive will use negative eugenics to keep those individuals that use more resources than they are capable of producing from being more of a burden. The Progressive believes the elderly and terminally ill are drains on resources.

If the individual had no rights or value from the Creator then the elderly or terminally ill individual would be destroyed for the “good of everyone else”. There are two problems with this logic: 1) every individual is endowed by his Creator with rights and value; 2) this logic assumes that resources are limited, yet through capitalism and science we have expanded our access to resources.

The Progressive will champion the euthanasia of the elderly and terminally ill because those are usually the individuals who are more inclined to believe in a Creator and could be their enemies.

The Progressive President Barack Hussein Obama in a recent “townhall” meeting was essentially asked by Jane Sturm whether her mother (99 years old at the time) would have gotten a life-saving pacemaker under his proposed health care plan.

Jane: Outside the medical criteria for prolonging life for somebody who is elderly, is there any consideration that can be given for a certain spirit, a certain joy of living, quality of life, or is it just a medical cut-off at a certain age?

Obama: We’re not going to solve every difficult problem in terms of end of life care. A lot of that is going to have to be we as a culture and society starting to make better decisions within our own families and, and for ourselves. But what we can do is make sure that at least some of the waste that exists in the system that’s not making anybody’s mom better. Uh, that is loading up on additional tests or additional drugs that the evidence shows is not necessarily going to improve care. That at least we can let doctors know, and your mom know, that, you know what, that maybe this isn’t gonna help. Maybe you’re better off not, uh, having the surgery, but taking, uh, the painkiller.

“Obama to Jane Sturm: Hey, take a pill”

Uuuhhhh, let’s deconstruct his words. First, “end of life care”. He does not refer to it as care of the elderly. He uses “end of life” which in other words is death.

The word master plays around and his methodical pauses and emphases disguise his next statement. “…we as a culture and society starting to make better decisions within our own families and for ourselves.” He is stating that society needs to make “better” decisions within our families (what decisions would these be?) and for ourselves. He is simply and covertly advocating society (ie. Government) making decision for your family and you. Furthermore, these are decisions that mean an end to life. Read it again and again, just take out the rhetoric and really listen to what he says. This Progressive believes that he and other like-minded androtheists and socialists should be making the decisions because you are not an androtheist like him.

Lastly, without much medical knowledge, he states: “…at least we (him and his administration) can let doctors know…that [their decision] isn’t gonna help.” Letting a “doctor know” is basically telling them what to do. This statement takes away a doctor’s ability to practice his cause and cheapens his oath. Instead of informing doctors of options, it lets them know what they can and cannot do.

President Barack Hussein Obama’s last statement is self-explanatory. He is a Progressive. And he never answers her specific question, but he does answer her underlying question…yes, your mom would have been hopped up on painkillers until she died.

We need to preserve the elderly and terminally ill for as long as medically possible. Where would the world be without Stephen Hawking (ALS first diagnosed in the 1960s and lost his speech in 1985), or Michael J. Fox (diagnosed in 1991) who has established a research foundation for the possibly terminal Parkinson’s Disease?

On March 18, 2005 Theresa Marie Schiavo was taken off of life-support and 13 days later on March 31, 2005, she died of malnutrition and dehydration. Please note that “schiavo” is Italian for “slave”. In 1990 Terri unexplainably collapsed due to apparent respiratory and cardiac arrest. Her autopsy would much later show that she did not suffer bulimia or a heart attack. In 1992, Michael Schiavo settled for $300,000 in her case, while Terri was awarded $700,000 for medical expenses, from a malpractice lawsuit against her obstetrician. Her obstetrician was accused of not testing her for an eating disorder which was believed to have caused her collapse (but she didn’t have bulimia).

Her “husband” began living with his girlfriend in 1993, yet never filed for divorce. He had two children with his girlfriend before Terri died. So much for marital loyalty. Michael may have blogged on the Socialist website Daily Kos.

Michael always said that it was never about the money. Why not? He already got his. Michael Schiavo is a tool of the Progressive. Terri had every right as an individual to life regardless of her mental capacity.

The Progressive will continue to use the Cult of Death to subdue the individual.

The Cult of Environment

The egotistical androtheist has created the issue of the environment to limit the liberty of the individual for the sake of the perceived common good. In order to keep the common folk in their ignorance, the egotistical androtheist created the religious Cult of Environment. The Cult of Environment puts everything above the individual human. The Cult’s main proponent, Al Gore, may be a Progressive or just a socialist tool but more likely the former.

The argument of Climate Change and the Environment as a religious cult can be easily made. The key point here is that Al Gore refuses to debate a growing mound of evidence that he was wrong in his predictions in “An Inconvenient Truth”. Furthermore, his claim of Truth is not science. Faith and philosophy deal with Truths.

When asked by the Danish environmentalist and political scientist (contemporary colleague), Bjorn Lomborg, Ph.D., to debate his stance on Climate Change Al Gore (B.A. in Government) arranged the following:

The interview had been scheduled for months. The day before the interview Mr. Gore's agent thought Gore-meets-Lomborg would be great. Yet an hour later, he came back to tell us that Bjorn Lomborg should be excluded from the interview because he's been very critical of Mr. Gore's message about global warming and has questioned Mr. Gore's evenhandedness. According to the agent, Mr. Gore only wanted to have questions about his book and documentary, and only asked by a reporter. These conditions were immediately accepted by Jyllands-Posten. Yet an hour later we received an email from the agent saying that the interview was now cancelled. What happened?

Apparently, Al Gore is a very inconvenient interviewee. Al Gore will not debate anyone if they have facts that contradict his “truth”. He consistently tells everyone that the issue has gone beyond theory and if you question his “truth” then you are an infidel and want everyone to be covered in pollution and die. If a journalist asks Al Gore to debate he would say: “No more scoop for you!”

Al Gore should have gotten his degree in a science instead of “government” if this was truly his calling. I think he could have learned a lot if he would only understand what science strives to do and what the scientific method is.

The saying “Science Marches On” is quite apt. Science is not a singular belief in a Truth. Science is the continual exploration of Truth through the use of the scientific method.

Christian scientists (not Christian Science) believe that through their work in exploring the world around them they pursue the ultimate Truth, God. In this way, science is not religion but the independent human pursuit of God. Back to the egotistical androtheist and his tool….

The Progressive will pervert science. By making science—at least the science approved by socialism—the truth instead of the pursuit of truth, they make science a religious cult. It makes science a belief structure that cannot be disputed or questioned for fear of being labeled immoral or unethical. The Progressive loves to label the common folk; this makes it much easier to divide by labels and conquer.

The very nature of science is as a pursuit and should take nothing for granted. The scientific method comprises of four steps: Observation, Hypothesis, Prediction and Performance. Science is imperfect, but ever improving through the honest use of the scientific method.

Al Gore’s climate scientists made their observations and formulated a hypothesis that fit his ultimate Socialist goals by making the prediction that anthropogenic (man-made) carbon dioxide would make the average temperature of the world increase and therefore wreak havoc upon our climate.

When Al Gore speaks of climate change he is admitting that global warming might not be in the future. Why have they changed the vocabulary from global warming to climate change? Climates change…big deal. The current climate situation of earth has changed in the past, sometimes violently and catastrophically. The reason for the change in the label is because the earth’s temperature since his “Convenient Theory” came out in “An Inconvenient Truth” has actually dropped.

Al Gore and his scientists seem to dismiss this drop as a temporary lull. They also love the Arctic and the Antarctic and consider them the “canary in a coalmine”. Al Gore conveniently looks at the coastal regions of the poles, but disregards the interiors. He looks at large amounts of ice shelf fracturing away and says “lookie, lookie, the earth is warming, the earth is warming…it’s melting the ice in Antarctica!”

According to Thomas, E. R., G. J. Marshall, and J. R. McConnell, 2008: A doubling in snow accumulation in the western Antarctic Peninsula since 1850, there is obviously more snow on the continent than before. The ice shelves of Antarctica are fed by huge glaciers of ice and snow. These ice shelves do not accumulate mass from the oceans they are pushed out by the glaciers. If these glaciers get a boost of snow and ice at the origin and gravity pushes their flow outward to the ocean. When Al Gore laments of a piece of ice the size of Rhode Island or Delaware breaking off the ice shelf he dismisses all other explanations other than global warming. He fails to see what might be happening on the rest of the continent.

So why should we care about the ice shelves melting? According to Al Gore this will cause the sea level to rise and decimate coastal regions around the world. In his movie he stated that the earth’s sea level could rise up to 20 feet. Let’s do a little calculation here: Total oceanic surface area: 139,000,000 square miles. Antarctica has 595,000 square miles of ice shelves at a median depth of 0.4 mile. Glacial ice has approximately 85% the density of its melted counterpart freshwater. Multiply them all up and you get 202,000 cubic miles of extra volume or an increase of 8 feet world wide. If Greenland (climate change-ologists’ new canary in a coalmine most conveniently) were to lose all of its ice cap (680,000 cubic miles) then the sea level would rise to 20 feet. But that’s ALL of the ice. The recent increase in frozen precipitation would offset the loss of ice. The oceans volume will decrease with an increase in evaporation.

In the end, since Al Gore’s movie came out average global surface temperatures have dropped which is contrary to what climate change-ologists’ models said would happen. I’d say that the scientific method has prevailed. They observed, formulated a hypothesis and made predictions…and now their performance has failed. But they won’t go back to the drawing board; they will fight for their hypothesis at the expense of the predictions and our wallets.

You might be asking yourself…in the end why does the individual care? It’s all about Cap’n Trade…I mean Cap and Trade. Congress calls it “American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009”. There’s nothing American about it. It restricts the individual in what he can do to his property. The law would set up a system of caps and trading of the emissions of carbon dioxide by individuals and business. Al Gore’s premise leads him and other Progressives to push the cause of decreasing the amount of carbon dioxide emitted to the detriment of our liberties.

Al Gore is the head of Generation Investment Management LLP (GIM), a London-based firm that Al Gore co-founded in 2004. GIM is the world leader in carbon credits (the trade part of Cap and Trade). Can we say CHA-CHING? Al Gore is poised to make a lot of money with this new law.

“Cap and Trade” is a system already used in Spain (which has seen an increase in carbon dioxide emissions since 1990). Environmental organizations and businesses would be given an allotment of carbon credits every year relating to how much carbon dioxide they pull out of the air according to government calculations. A manufacturer who emits carbons would then buy carbon credits from the environmental company or suffer a harsh penalty. So Company A is an environmental company, they plant trees and the government deems that they pull 1,000,000 cubic meters of carbon dioxide out of the air. Company B is a car manufacturer and has carbon emissions of 1,000,000 cubic meters. Company B pays Company A $10,000,000 to buy carbon credits to offset their emissions. If Company B doesn’t do this they will be fined $20,000,000 by the federal government. The idea is to be “carbon neutral” and his entirely based on the belief that carbon dioxide is increasing the earth’s temperature.

The largest amounts of carbon dioxide produced are through energy production. This bill will increase the cost of energy. The Socialist tool will say that we need to decrease our energy use to decrease our carbon footprint. Two ways of doing this are 1) forcing the increase in energy costs 2) forcing the individual to buy new things that use less energy.

Here’s something funny. The cover (and the zoom-in) of Al Gore’s new children’s book (as shown on Amazon.com) “Our Choice” shows a hurricane off the coast of Florida in the Atlantic Ocean spinning clockwise. It is basic earth science that hurricanes in the Northern Hemisphere spin counter-clockwise. I know it might sound petty, but the cover of the book was designed as a textbook. A book of science…if they can’t get basic earth science right on the cover how can we believe the science in the book. I believe the adult book has the same badly photoshopped satellite shot as the children’s version. Don’t waste your money.

President George W. Bush (conservative?) signed into law that all incandescent light bulbs be banned for sale in the United States in 2012. Compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) are the new heralded light source for America. They claim to be more efficient than regular light bulbs. CFL efficiency is only in its continual use. Turning on a CFL takes more energy than a regular light bulb, only after time does the energy-efficiency come about. CFLs are manufactured in China. The mercury present in CFLs does not allow it to be made in the United States. The EPA has steps to mitigate the environmental impact of breaking one:

Before Clean-up: Air Out the Room

* Have people and pets leave the room, and don't let anyone walk through the breakage area on their way out.
* Open a window and leave the room for 15 minutes or more.
* Shut off the central forced-air heating/air conditioning system, if you have one.

Clean-Up Steps for Hard Surfaces

* Carefully scoop up glass pieces and powder using stiff paper or cardboard and place them in a glass jar with metal lid (such as a canning jar) or in a sealed plastic bag.
* Use sticky tape, such as duct tape, to pick up any remaining small glass fragments and powder.
* Wipe the area clean with damp paper towels or disposable wet wipes. Place towels in the glass jar or plastic bag.
* Do not use a vacuum or broom to clean up the broken bulb on hard surfaces.

Clean-up Steps for Carpeting or Rug

* Carefully pick up glass fragments and place them in a glass jar with metal lid (such as a canning jar) or in a sealed plastic bag.
* Use sticky tape, such as duct tape, to pick up any remaining small glass fragments and powder.
* If vacuuming is needed after all visible materials are removed, vacuum the area where the bulb was broken.
* Remove the vacuum bag (or empty and wipe the canister), and put the bag or vacuum debris in a sealed plastic bag.

Clean-up Steps for Clothing, Bedding and Other Soft Materials

* If clothing or bedding materials come in direct contact with broken glass or mercury-containing powder from inside the bulb that may stick to the fabric, the clothing or bedding should be thrown away. Do not wash such clothing or bedding because mercury fragments in the clothing may contaminate the machine and/or pollute sewage.
* You can, however, wash clothing or other materials that have been exposed to the mercury vapor from a broken CFL, such as the clothing you are wearing when you cleaned up the broken CFL, as long as that clothing has not come into direct contact with the materials from the broken bulb.
* If shoes come into direct contact with broken glass or mercury-containing powder from the bulb, wipe them off with damp paper towels or disposable wet wipes. Place the towels or wipes in a glass jar or plastic bag for disposal.

Disposal of Clean-up Materials

* Immediately place all clean-up materials outdoors in a trash container or protected area for the next normal trash pickup.
* Wash your hands after disposing of the jars or plastic bags containing clean-up materials.
* Check with your local or state government about disposal requirements in your specific area. Some states do not allow such trash disposal. Instead, they require that broken and unbroken mercury-containing bulbs be taken to a local recycling center.

Future Cleaning of Carpeting or Rug: Air Out the Room During and After Vacuuming

* The next several times you vacuum, shut off the central forced-air heating/air conditioning system and open a window before vacuuming.
* Keep the central heating/air conditioning system shut off and the window open for at least 15 minutes after vacuuming is completed.

This is ridiculous. The Cult of Environment will tell you that you must freeze in the winter, burn up in the summer to “save the environment”. You must drive a hybrid car. You must drive less. You must “go green”. Nobody wants polluted drinking water regardless of what the Socialist may say, but they will use this argument to the extreme to take away your liberty.

In 1973, President Richard Nixon (evil Republican?) called for Congress to write a law that would enforce the protection of certain animals and plants and their perceived habitat regardless of the impact on the human individual. The listing of a species on the endangered species list is dependent on government studies. Establishing the population of a species is near impossible if you consider that new specie are discovered every day. President Nixon signed the Endangered Species Act of 1973 as well as the National Environmental Policy Act in 1970.

In the United States it is legal and free of fee or penalty by the government to kill a pre-born human individual. In the United States it is a fine of tens of thousands of dollars and possible jail time to touch the egg of a sea turtle. Pre-born sea turtles have more rights in the United States than pre-born human individuals. This is all to further limit the individual’s power and increase the government’s power by being proxy and guardian of the animal that may reside near you.

The Cult of Social Justice

The egotistical androtheist has created Universality to replace the ideal of the “land of opportunity”. The Progressive believes in the equality of outcome not of opportunity, and then only for the common individual. This ensures the common individual as a slave and tool. With the Progressive in power you do not have the same opportunity to be your potential; your only option is to be what the Crown has predetermined you to be…the same as everyone else. You become a ward of the state.

When the Progressive speaks of “Social Justice”, he really is speaking of justice for some. He speaks of an empathetic justice (oxymoron) that more closely resembles an overactive vengeance. The oath that a United States Supreme Court justice takes is as follows:
I, _________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as _________ under the Constitution and laws of the United States; and that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

Justice is supposed to be blind. Just reading the oath of office for a Justice (it is a combined Constitutional Oath and Judicial Oath) you can take away that justice cannot be swayed by the economic status of a person or by the person’s characteristics such as race or heritage.

Nobody alive today in the United States has ever owned a slave, yet many Socialist tools will call for slave reparations still. These reparations are in the form of Affirmative Action (I am not talking about Equal Opportunity employment) or direct calls for financial reparations.

The Socialist tool also subscribes to another aspect of “Social Justice” called the redistribution of wealth. The Progressive has lied to his tool by saying the wealthy have gained their finances through the coercion and “fooling” of the poor. Progressive President Barack Hussein Obama during his presidential campaign told the now famous Joe the Plumber that the redistribution of his wealth was necessary to help the poorer people behind him. Fortunately, Joe the Plumber refused to become a tool and believe the lie.

The Progressive will never fully adhere to the very “Social Justice” laws they propose. In order to suppress the liberties of the individual for the “common good” they propose these laws of the redistribution of wealth to make everyone equally poor and equally subservient to the egotistical androtheist.

The United Nations has been molded by the Progressive into an institution that champions the ideal of “Social Justice” and its subsequent inequality in enforcement when it comes to the Progressive and Socialist tool themselves. One must only look at the infamous programs the United Nations has produced.

The Progressive Clinton Administration introduced the Oil for Food Programme to the United Nations. This infamous program funneled billions of dollars to Saddam Hussein and padded the pockets of many United Nations officials and eventually then U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan’s son was implicated in the scandal. The idea was to give Iraq much needed food and supplies (food and supplies Saddam Hussein was denying his own people) in exchange for Iraqi oil.

The United Nations claims “to employ international machinery for the promotion of the economic and social advancement of all peoples, …[in order] to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom”. The last part of the statement is the most interesting; rephrased it says “the U.N., in larger freedom, to impose Socialist progress”.

The egotistical androtheist will attempt to strip the Government of its safeguards against internal tyranny (Bill of Rights) and utilize the rest of the Constitution to suppress our freedoms. This is not a strictly American phenomenon. The United Nations has no safeguards and can be freely used by those who would abridge our freedoms.

The Vatican’s newest encyclical “Caritas in Veritate” or Charity (Love) in Truth has many great points and describes utopian ideals. There are very disturbing ideas coming out of the Vatican.

(37)… Economic life undoubtedly requires contracts, in order to regulate relations of exchange between goods of equivalent value. But it also needs just laws and forms of redistribution governed by politics, and what is more, it needs works redolent of the spirit of gift.

(42)…The processes of globalization, suitably understood and directed, open up the unprecedented possibility of large-scale redistribution of wealth on a world-wide scale; if badly directed, however, they can lead to an increase in poverty and inequality, and could even trigger a global crisis.

“Redistribution governed by politics” means taxing the haves to give to the have-nots. It is obvious that some at the Vatican believe that redistributing wealth is in the “spirit of gift”. Everyone should give to charity, both time and money. Giving to charity extends God’s love to those who need it. Essentially you become the face of God to those in need. A gift is given freely and without penalty or coercion. When someone says redistribution [of wealth] they mean by way of taxes. Taxes are compulsory in nature and are not gifts. If the redistribution of wealth becomes the norm, then the only face the poor will see is that of the Government. But even further than that, the poor will see the face of the egotistical androtheist; for it is the androtheist who believes himself to be a god.

An example of this is “community organization” touted by Progressive President Barack Hussein Obama. Large amounts of our tax dollars are going to organizations like ACORN and Volunteers of America. If it were up to the President these organizations and those like them would be the only ones giving comfort to the poor and food to the hungry. Instead of allowing Americans to keep their money and give it to charities, the Government would take your money and get all the praise. The poor and hungry will see the Government and these community organizations as their savior, not God through the individual.

Even though the Vatican admits that a badly managed redistribution of wealth could create a global crisis, it still believes that a global redistribution of wealth is a good thing. The United Nations does not have as its Charter the belief that power comes from God to the individual and the individual grants Government limited powers. The Vatican claims that all it would take is greater international power and good people. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Whatever the intentions of the United Nations, if it were given more power over its member nations, it would still not based upon the fundamental tenant that we are all endowed by the Creator our rights and the political power. Would it be worth giving up our sovereignty to the United Nations if every single person involved were righteous, incorruptible and ethical and rights were endowed by our Creator? Maybe. But this is NOT a perfect world and the United Nations will never be that way. The last criterion would be the most important part. There are too many enemies of freedom in this world (the Vatican should be very aware of this) that a United Nations with “teeth” would only help to snuff this beacon of freedom we call home.

I find it very disheartening that some in the Vatican would take the side of the egotistical androtheist and succumb to his lies.

Shari’a

Shari’a restricts the liberties of women for their “common good”. More specifically, certain extreme Muslim leadership and its blatantly anti-woman ideology restricts the liberties of Muslim women. Women in these societies do not have access to education; they do not have equal rights to men; are ‘legally’ beaten and abused for not obeying their male authorities or husband; do not have equal treatment under the law; they have no say whether their husband gets another wife or not; their husbands can divorce for any reason by simply saying so.
Pharaoh of Ancient Egyptian

The Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt was believed by the people of Egypt to have been an Egyptian god incarnate. Artisans, as well as, common folk worked on the Pyramids. The Pharaoh, as an egotistical Socialist, employed many to do his bidding and erect monuments. While this kept the people employed, it did not produce anything of economic use. This was the original and most simplest variation of the egotistical androtheist.

American Slave Owner

The American slave owner is perhaps the most blatant example of the egotistical androtheist. Albeit with a largely racial overtone, the American slave owner used extremely distorted views of religion to suppress millions of fellow Americans by way of slavery.

Marx-Alinksy

Many may say that Karl Marx was the father of Socialism. He was most probably an androtheist, he may have been a tool, but I believe he was not an egotistical one. Karl Marx led a very troubled life. He might have been the first to write down the “ideals” of Socialism, but he was not the first to think of them.

The same goes for Saul Alinsky, the mentor for Socialist President Barack Hussein Obama. He wrote down the machination of modern American politics toward a Socialist end.

When asked about joining the Communist Party in an interview, Alinsky said, “Not at any time. I’ve never joined any organization -- not even the ones I’ve organized myself. I prize my own independence too much. And philosophically, I could never accept any rigid dogma or ideology, whether it’s Christianity or Marxism. One of the most important things in life is what judge Learned Hand described as ‘that ever-gnawing inner doubt as to whether you’re right.’ If you don’t have that, if you think you’ve got an inside track to absolute truth, you become doctrinaire, humorless and intellectually constipated. The greatest crimes in history have been perpetrated by such religious and political and racial fanatics, from the persecutions of the Inquisition on down to Communist purges and Nazi genocide.”

Saul Alinsky never joined any organization because he is an androtheist. These “organizations” that androtheists create are only institutional tools that turn ignorant people into the tools of the androtheist.

Nazism

The most notorious Socialist Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf. Hitler’s National Socialist Labor Party (Nazi Party) was established with a racial and militant flavor. But make no mistake, Adolf Hilter was a socialist first and foremost; he used race and the concept of “völkisch” along with an economic situation to thrust Germany into a socialist authoritarianism. Unlike the Socialism of Alinsky and Obama, the socialism of Hitler did not include happy faces of hope, his was one at the barrel of a gun.

American Progressives

“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. What I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you could not do before. I think America as a whole in 1973 [and] 1974 … missed the opportunity to deal with the energy crisis that was before us. For a long time our energy policy came down to cheap oil. This is an opportunity what used to be long-term problems be they in the health care area, energy area, education area, fiscal area, tax area, regulatory reform area. Things that we have postponed for too long.” Socialist President Barack Hussein Obama’s Chief-of-Staff, Rahm Emanuel.

The American Progressive is one who subverts our Bill of Rights in order to gain power within the structure of the Government. This will allow the egotistical androtheist to use the Government to suppress the common folk. They wish to progressively put the tentacles of Government into every aspect of your life. They do this through government-run health care, welfare (the new slave plantation) and taxes.

The first step to running every aspect of your life is the instituting of “czars”. “Czars” have no accountability except to one man (the President), no oversight (by Congress or the people), no confirmation (by Congress) and no requirement of transparency (to the media or Congress). Just as any two-bit dictator, the Socialist President Barack Hussein Obama has appointed mini dictators over parts of our economy and way of life; who are not confirmed by the legislature and do not have to report to them either.

This is exactly what the Founding Fathers did not want to happen and that is why they developed the three branches of government. We have three separate branches with equal footing and “checks and balances” to assure that not one person or group of people could amass the entire power of the government. This is Government 101. But when czars are appointed it subverts the checks and balances and equality of our three branch system. It allows the President himself to rule without restraint.

Essentially, the President is trying to run the entire government with his buddies and tools. In the process, by-passing the will of the people through their elected representative.

Conclusion

In 1748 Englishman John Newton was aboard the sailing ship Greyhound where he had a conversion while the sea was stormy. He had been a slave trader. Years later he became an Anglican priest and around 1772 he wrote a poem aimed at helping him in a sermon about his horrible past and divine grace. Here’s his poem:

Let me get this straight. AIG gets billions in taxpayer dollars, gives millions in bonuses, ACORN and the Obama Administration get their feathers ruffled and basically ruin the lives of AIG execs (class warfare and envy).

GM gets billions in taxpayer dollars. Obama basically orders its CEO to step down. GM asks for billions more and gets it. GM files for bankruptcy. Obama takes over GM for all intents and purposes. GM has a fire-sale and emerges as a "new GM". Then the failed ex-CEO of GM gets over $10 million in bonuses.

Where's the outrage toward the CEO, toward GM and toward Obama. President Obama is the one calling the shots along with his Car Czar... and then we see this headline:

I know...I harp on this a lot. The fact that the Recovery Act was needed NOW and that it was an emergrency. We couldn't wait and actually read the bill.

Are we supposed to be soothed by Obama's statement? A couple million jobs have been lost since the Recovery Act was enacted. Obama touted it as a jobs saver. If it really is saving jobs...let us not forget that more jobs are being lost and vastly overshadows any "saved" job. When President Obama says that he has saved 150,000 jobs, he tells you this but wants you to forget the half million jobs lost every month. So instead of 2,150,000 jobs lost ONLY 2,000,000 jobs were lost....

Watching the Sotomayor hearings. They're talking about eminent domain and the difference between public use and public purpose. Under public purpose, the State can take your land and give it to a private developer because it would increase tax revenues. Public Use (that's the one in the Constitution) I believe is taking land for use by the public, ie roads, highways, schools, libraries, municipal buildings, parks...NOT shopping malls for the profit of private developers.

We need to call it the "Deficit and Unemployment Recovery Spending Act Awareness Ribbon" (DURSPAAR). It will be a ribbon that will help promote the awareness that Obama's Recovery Act will only recover the deficit and unemployment that was ushered in the Great Depression. It will also promote awareness of the hard-earned money that you are giving to the government without getting ANYTHING in return... except maybe unemployment or bankruptcy.

You fold the dollar lengthwise so that it is as thin as the words "IN GOD WE TRUST". Then fold it in the form of a ribbon with "IN GOD WE TRUST" shown on the top.

I would suggest that Palin get out; either way, I would vote for her if today was Election Day. As an Individualist, I believe that parties should be abolished. It seems that the Two parties are practically the same. Speaking in majorities of parties, the only thing different seems to be abortion. We don't need no stinkin' parties. We need to start voting on person, not party.

Unfortunately, our Congress has the cancer of party within its infrastructure to the detriment of its original purpose. Right now, party has too much power. With a two-party system, the US government is just a parliamentary system with only two options instead of ten. We waste too much time and money on Party. We need to start supporting people not Party.

Supermax prison: Obama's books objectionable

FLORENCE, COLO. —The federal government's most secure prison has determined two books written by President Barack Obama contain material "potentially detrimental to national security" and rejected an inmate's request to read them.

Ahmed Omar Abu Ali is serving a 30-year sentence at the federal supermax prison in Florence for joining al-Qaida and plotting to assassinate then-President George W. Bush. Last year, Abu Ali requested two books written by Obama: "Dreams from My Father" and "The Audacity of Hope."

But prison officials, citing guidance from the FBI, determined that passages in both books contain information that could damage national security.

A prison spokeswoman referred questions to the FBI.

There you go...Obama's own FBI considers certain things Obama has written to be "potentially detrimental to national security" and in the light of this the SuperMax facility in Florence has stopped an al-Qaida member from reading it. How do the 60+ million people who voted for Obama feel about their candidate and his writings? Most never read him, most probably don't care because he is a celebrity "rock star". Sad.

Just watching the news. Social Security Administration officials buy out a luxury hotel in Arizona for a "conference". Are they stupid? Why would Obama's SSA do exactly what AIG did? AIG's claim was that the luxury hotel was needed to help ice deals with clients and offer conferencing. Obama's SSA (a government program that is bleeding money in the Billions and is broke) says that it needs their people to go to this luxury hotel for conferencing. The journalist asked the spokeshead "Why is this needed? Can't you use your teleconferencing?". No this was apparently needed. The journalist said this was costing US just under $1 million. Even though this is a small amount compared to the $77 million they pay to dead recipients, it should not be happening. I can't find anything on the internet about it yet.

This is comical. Did these guys consult God? Are they serious? Did they take into account the fact that Earth's average temperature has dropped in the last decade (an inconvenient fact for Algore)? They probably heard about the spotless Sun getting some spots lately. And considering sunspot activity has been linked to global temperature shifts...what kind of ego do these leaders have?

When "global warming" was touted by Algore in the 1990s he didn't see the global cooling that would ensue in the next decade, so now it's called "climate change". Just changing the name to what ends up being control over carbon emissions either way, it ultimately ends up in control of our lives.

A widespread computer attack that began July 4 knocked out the Web sites of the Treasury Department, the Secret Service and other U.S. agencies, and South Korean government sites also came under assault.

South Korean intelligence officials believe the attacks were carried out by North Korean or pro-Pyongyang forces. U.S. officials so far have refused to publicly discuss details of the attack or where it might have originated.

The Washington Post reported Wednesday that its own Web site was among several commercial sites also hit.

The U.S. government sites, which included those of the Federal Trade Commission and the Transportation Department, were all down at varying points over the holiday weekend and into this week. South Korean Internet sites began experiencing problems Tuesday.

Where's the Cyber Czar? Where's the Administration on these attacks...come on, the US and Good Korea websites are attacked. Mmmmm, who could it be? Did anybody really believe the appointment of a cyber czar would actually make us more secure?

Watching the coverage on TV of the procession of Michael Jackson to Staples Center while listening to Glenn Beck's radio show and also looking for a job online. I've noticed with the Jackson family motorcade that masses of people are lined up along the route and across the overpasses to look at the motorcade. Then I realize that California's unemployment rate is above 10%. Well, it seems Michael Jackson's death has given the unemployed masses something to do. Man, this reminds me of the OJ-Bronco thing.

VP Biden is a goofball. Are these more gaffes? Either way, this still feeds the fire of Obama criticism. This administration has pushed forward sweeping policies and laws that Congress has blindly (literally since nobody actually read any of these bills) supported that re based upon faulty logic and false premises.

Here's where we're at:

Obama makes deals with Russia, while Iran is in turmoil and Evil Korea is flexing its nuclear muscles and has outwardly threatened the United States. Also, millions of Americans have now lost their jobs since Obama's "Recovery" Act has been enacted and implemented. Why hasn't this "emergency" spending worked? It was never about jobs...it was about funding Progressive pet-projects that will create some jobs at the cost of everyone else's jobs. Nero!

America is burning and Obama is fiddling with Medvedev. Nero rebuilt Rome has he envisioned it. So will Obama. When Nero came back (after Rome had burned) he opened his house to the homeless and paid under his (government) funds...then rebuilt Rome in his image. To deflect the blame, he began persecuting Christians. Who will our government persecute? CEOs, conservatives and individualists, small business owners named Joe, the unborn human child.

We need to see through the Progressive cloud. We (Americans) didn't start the fire, it was sparked by government (Bush, Congress and Obama) and now it's a raging fire that is gutting us out. We cannot allow Obama to continue remaking America in his Progressive image. If I was President and had a Congress for the people and common sense, I would support and sign a very simple law: "The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is hereby repealed." Simple wouldn't it be?

I just finished reading Glenn Beck's Common Sense. Great book. An eye-opener and mind-opener. It truly is common sense. (I'm going to read Thomas Paine's Common Sense next.)

Here's some of the most poignant parts of the book. When you read it recall what has happened in Congress and the Presidency (the current and last one) and what will happen if nothing is done to stop Progressivism.

"You cannot take away freedom to protect it, you cannot destroy the free market to save it, and you cannot uphold freedom of speech by silencing those with whom you disagree. To take rights away to defend them or to spend your way out of debt defies common sense." Glenn Beck's Common Sense, page 17

Remember these:

1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them; they answer to me.

Washington Post publisher Katharine Weymouth said today she was canceling plans for an exclusive "salon" at her home where for as much as $250,000, the Post offered lobbyists and association executives off-the-record access to "those powerful few" — Obama administration officials, members of Congress, and even the paper’s own reporters and editors.

The astonishing offer was detailed in a flier circulated Wednesday to a health care lobbyist, who provided it to a reporter because the lobbyist said he felt it was a conflict for the paper to charge for access to, as the flier says, its “health care reporting and editorial staff."

With the Post newsroom in an uproar after POLITICO reported the solicitation, Weymouth said in an email to the staff that "a flier went out that was prepared by the Marketing department and was never vetted by me or by the newsroom. Had it been, the flier would have been immediately killed, because it completely misrepresented what we were trying to do."

Is anyone surprised? This only confirms the belief of many of you out there that many a newspaper are practically in bed with the Obama Administration and lobbyists. The surprise here is that it took an (dare I say it) honest lobbyist to recognize this as a breach of ethics.

Would the Obama Administration be "transparent" if this went through? I'm not going out on a limb to say this would have been brushed under the rug.

Regardless of whether or not they would have gone through with the get together, the Washington Post has become yellow journalism and a guard dog for the President. Who's next?

A smoke-less cigarette that atomizes flavor and nicotine, is rechargeable and in the long run is way cheaper than regular, highly taxed, tobacco products. Just wait...if these become extremely popular with smokers (they can be puffed any where because there's no smoke...the government will eventually find an excuse to over-tax this too. Especially because the tobacco tax revenues would drop like a rock.

Barack Obama's presidential campaign — a call for openness: "Transparency and accountability, getting the American people involved, that's how we're gonna bring about change," candidate Obama said.

And the theme continued on Obama's first day as president: "Starting today, every agency and department should know that this administration stands on the side not of those who seek to withhold information, but those who seek to make it known."

But for advocates of open government, the new era of openness has yet to dawn.

"Once all the pretty speeches were over in the first couple of days, the record now isn't quite so great," said Melanie Sloan, executive director of the nonpartisan watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

As for "transparency", he is very transparent when it comes to spending. Not so much when it comes to his birth eligibility, and apparently who comes to visit him, or even which specific projects are getting funded. What is he hiding? The same goes with his czars, they are beholden to none but President Obama. Where is the transparency? There are as many American Czars and there were in the Romanov dynasty.

Obama salutes non-profit programs
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Obama on Tuesday promised that the White House will do its part to support grass-roots organizations that are successful in their efforts to improve communities.

"Solutions to America's challenges are being developed every day at the grass roots. And government shouldn't be supplanting those efforts, it should be supporting those efforts," Obama told representatives of non-profit programs during a White House gathering.

The president said he was asking Domestic Policy Council director Melody Barnes and the White House innovation team to travel across the country to discover and evaluate the best programs making strides in such areas as education, training and health care.

Obama noted that the community service act he signed into law contained a $50 million innovation fund that he wanted to use to provide aid to the most promising nonprofits in the country. "We'll invest in those with the best results, that are most likely to provide a good return on our taxpayer dollars," he said.

Obama also called on foundations, businesses and philanthropists to take an active role, saying they would require matching investments from the private sector.

How is the President going to "require matching investments from the private sector"? Oh yes, taxes. As I see it, Obama wants to decrease the amount tax payers can deduct for charities, because he believes the government should give our money to charities and "community organizations" that only he approves. All this because the masser hisself knows better'n us slaves.

In the end, immoral and PC organizations such as ACORN, Planned Parenthood, PETA and the NPA, will get the money and Christian-based groups will get less.

Even if the federal government doesn't bail out California's state budget...they still want your public lands. In short, the federal government will take state owned park lands because many of California State Parks have taken money from the federal government...the federal government will call on that debt. Once this is done...California WILL lose those parks f-o-r-e-v-e-r.

We have a federal government out of control...they are taking control of the states (against the Constitution).

Armageddon. Apocalypse. Disaster: These are the words being used to describe California's staggering $24 billion budget deficit. With a midnight deadline to balance the budget, state lawmakers are facing a daunting task: Find a way to bridge the gap or start issuing $3 billion in IOUs this week to cover the bills. [How do IOUs cover bills? Why not start selling off the state to cover?]

Almost every state is suffering from the effects of the recession, but not every state accounts for 12 percent of the national gross domestic product. According to AP, if California goes down, so goes the nation: [Wait a minute. Are we talking about the economy or the state budget here?] California's annual $1.7 trillion economy is the world's eighth-largest economy and provides a significant chunk of tax revenue for the government; California alone funds many social programs for the entire nation. [Let's look at the logic. State budget is short money. The US can't let California state government "fail" because the economy will fail and bring the other states down? Maybe the state should spend less. If the state is not bailed out maybe it will stop...that might not be a bad thing.]

Like the Big Three automakers, California may be "too big to fail." If the state implodes, the ripple effect could slow the entire nation's recovery from the recession. Burt P. Flickinger, a retail consultant, tells AP:

"California is the key catalyst for U.S. retail sales, and if California falls further you will see the U.S. economy suffer significantly." [Again, are we talking the state budget failing or the entire economy of California?]

How did California dig itself such a huge hole? The recession certainly didn't help, but Time's Kevin O'Leary writes that California's financial troubles can be traced back to the passage of Proposition 13 in 1978. [So homeowners in California would have given the state even more of their money which means less money circulating in the real-world.] An antitax measure, Prop 13 makes it extremely difficult to raise taxes or pass a budget unless a 2/3 majority in both state houses agree — a virtually impossible task. California Rep. Zoe Lofgren tells Politico:

"If we [in Congress] had to do what the California legislature does, we would never send a bill to the president of the United States,” she said. [Again, this is a bad thing?]

If the political wrangling over the budget isn't resolved by midnight tonight, Californians will be feeling the pain on every level, big and small. Just a few of the proposed spending cuts:

— State employees will be forced to take another day of unpaid leave a month, in addition to the two days leave they were forced to take starting in December. (NYT)

— Funding for the Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement will be slashed by $20 million. The "little-known unit" has played a key role in several of the state's high-profile cases: The bureau's agents helped arrest Scott Petersen for the murder of his wife and unborn child, and their investigation led to charges in Anna Nicole Smith's overdose death. (AP)

— 80 percent of state parks would be closed, 25 in the Bay Area alone, including several beaches along the peninsula. Park visitors spend an estimated $2.6 billion a year in and near state parks, but closing the parks would save only .26 percent of the $24 billion deficit. (SF Chronicle) [So if it doesn't save THAT much why do it?]

— Education funding would be reduced by $5.3 billion. School districts have already laid off 30,000 employees. Class sizes are expected to surge from 20 to 30 students and many after school programs, arts and music classes will be cut. A national education survey conducted this year ranked California 47th in per-student spending. (AP) [I can't believe that. I would believe that California's education quality is 47th.]

— Gov. Schwarzenegger is proposing to eliminate the state's $1.3 billion welfare program. Frank Mecca, the head of the County Welfare Directors Association of California, tells Time, "California could become the only state in the First World without subsistence benefits for poor children." ["It's for the children." Please, welfare (the way it's set up) is one of the first to get cut. What about entitlements? What about the millions of outlaw immigrants running from the law yet taking from our taxes?]

So far, the government is using a "wait and see" approach to California, or as a recent Politico headline stated more bluntly — "Washington to California: Drop dead." Earlier this month, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said that the administration would "monitor" the situation, but that California's "budgetary problem unfortunately is one that they're going to have to solve." [If the federal government ever bails out the State of California...tea parties will sprout throughout this country and I will be at one. NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION! I refuse to pay into the budget of a state other than Colorado!]

Senators want hearing on Obama's firing of IG
(AP)WASHINGTON – Two Republican senators asked Monday for a congressional hearing to look at whether President Barack Obama acted appropriately when he fired the national service agency's inspector general earlier this month.

Sens. Mike Enzi of Wyoming and Orrin Hatch of Utah said they were concerned about "significant questions raised regarding the propriety of the decision to remove the IG."

Obama fired Gerald Walpin, the inspector general who investigates AmeriCorps and other programs that are part of the Corporation for National Community Service, saying he had lost confidence in him. The firing followed an investigation by Walpin finding misuse of federal grants by a nonprofit education group led by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, who is an Obama supporter and former professional basketball star.

Johnson and a nonprofit education academy he founded ultimately agreed to repay half of $847,000 in grants it had received from AmeriCorps. Walpin was criticized by the acting U.S. attorney in Sacramento for the way he handled the investigation of Johnson and St. HOPE Academy.

Walpin has told The Associated Press that he reported facts and conclusions "in an honest and full way" while serving as IG.

Enzi and Hatch asked Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee, to hold a hearing.

"We have asked for information from the White House counsel and CNCS, but they have not been forthcoming to date nor willing to commit to a timeframe," the senators said in a letter to Kennedy.

A Kennedy spokeswoman, Melissa Wagoner, said the senator's office was reviewing the request.

What happened to transparency? The whole point to an inspector general is to make sure people within the government are doing their jobs and not cheating the system. Then you have the President and his community organization. We have an inspector general doing his job by investigating into Americorp and its partner community organizations; finding something wrong; the community organization ultimately pays back some funds it shouldn't have gotten. I'd say the guy made his money, did his job.

So why does President Obama fire him? Let me venture to say the inspector general was probably dangerous enough to nail bigger corrupt community organizations...such as ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) who helped Obama get elected. Obama's links to ACORN are extensive and Obama didn't like the inspector general getting too close to their ties to illegal activities.

This sounds more like Cuba or any other dictatorship. The dictator doesn't like the public to find the truth about their squandering of national resources to personal use...so they fire (or hang or stone) the whistleblower.

No doubt Obama will be appointing a community organizer to be the new inspector general.

Then we hear about this:

Vice President Biden announced today that Lynn Rosenthal will be the White House adviser on Violence Against Women, a new position created to work with the president and vice president on domestic violence and sexual assault issues...Rosenthal most recently served as the executive director of the New Mexico Coalition Against Domestic Violence and has focused on domestic violence issues like housing, state and local coordinated community response, federal policy, and survivor-centered advocacy.

Another new position...I mean czar! Does the President really need someone to overlook violence against women? Do we really need someone to establish that violence against women is wrong? Will Rosenthal establish which violence is wrong? This is ridiculous and just another example of the American Crown appointing their princesses/czars. Hey, it's Biden so it might be a joke.

Evergreen Chapel: Obama Chooses Church At Camp David, Same As Bush
For the past five months, White House aides and friends of the Obamas have been quietly visiting local churches and vetting the sermons of prospective first ministers in a search for a new and uncontroversial church home. Obama has even sampled a few himself, attending services at 19th Street Baptist on the weekend before his inauguration and celebrating Easter at St. John's Episcopal Church.

Now, in an unexpected move, Obama has told White House aides that instead of joining a congregation in Washington, D.C., he will follow in George W. Bush's footsteps and make his primary place of worship Evergreen Chapel, the nondenominational church at Camp David.

Let me get this straight: Bush = right-wing/religious right whack job who wears his beliefs on his shoulder.

So Obama is going to a church that he had other people pick for himself. A church that is considered uncontroversial (that's right for 20 years he went to a church headed by Rev. Wright and never knew he was racist.)

So if the preacher at this church helped Bush in his life who's to say Obama won't be influenced the same? This might not be too good for the President. He might become some religious right nut job. Where's the change? :)

But the biggest point this illustrates is this: It seems he hasn't gone to church since he was inaugurated...5 months...I guess he's been too busy..

But Obama said, "The notion that somehow from Washington you get this vast foreign policy experience is illusory."

The Clinton campaign begged off commenting, but campaigning in New Hampshire and told of Obama's remark, Sen. McCain, R-Ariz., offered a sarcastic reply.

"Well, I also think I'm the most qualified to run the decathlon because I watch sports on television all the time," McCain said, according to the Associated Press.

President Obama must be out of breath right now. I love that quote from McCain.

Ah yes, the Progressive Pundits said if he was elected President the world would love us again; he's a citizen of the world; correcting the "bad feelings" Bush had created in the Muslim world. Were they serious?

President Obama thought with his immaculate inauguration into office that through his "messiah" power issues around the world would right themselves. He is failing.

He is failing on the Korean issue. He is failing with Iran. It is obvious that Iran's leadership doesn't trust Obama. So why is Obama still harping on meeting with them when he knows they don't trust him? Delusional.

Instead of actively standing strong against the tyranny of Iran, he gives them rhetoric. Iran (and the Muslim world) sees rhetoric as weakness. Why were so many hesitant with Obama's speech in Cairo instead of jubilant. His speech in Cairo outlined how the US wouldn't get involved with "nation building" and internal affairs. His speech should have been at Waterloo. This is going to haunt him.

His speech in Cairo will be his Achilles heel. Everything that happens in Iran or Israel or AfPak will be weighed against his speech. Brilliant foreign policy move! He started with a sprint and now he's getting tired and Iran is running away from him.

We need to support the protestors in Iran. They really need a revolution, but we (individualists) cannot allow Progressivism to prevail. Unfortunately, our President is a Progressive and if he ever does see a toppling of the theocracy of Iran, I can guarantee he will support a progressive regime of secular totalitarianism.

I've been watching C-SPAN.
Rep. Mark Souder, Indiana, just said that if the House were made up of businessmen, people who make money and create jobs, this bill would not have passed. This Bill passed by a squeaker, 219-212... with 8 Progressive Republicans voting for it.
This will force American companies to do business in China, India, etc. because of the increase in energy costs. This will help gross polluting countries gain American jobs... thanks Obama.

Obama hosts luau for Congress
WASHINGTON, June 26 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama greeted members of the U.S. Congress and their families Thursday with a merry "Aloha" as he hosted a luau at the White House.

"I just want to say to all the members of Congress, you've been working hard," he said. "I wish I could give you all trips to Hawaii, but I figured since -- given our budget crunch we can't do that, that we'd at least bring Hawaii to you."

The president held his daughter Sasha's hand as the family -- all wearing leis -- walked out of the Oval Office to the South Lawn, as did Vice President Joe Biden. Biden introduced Obama by saying he likes the state he represented in the Senate, Illinois, but "loves" Hawaii, the president's native state.

Obama introduced his family, including "the star," Bo the dog.

Some members of Congress honored the occasion with Hawaiian shirts, including Obama's former Senate colleague, Dick Durbin of Illinois, and Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass.

The menu, with some items prepared by an Obama friend, Alan Wang, a chef in Hawaii, included Kahlua pig. Drinks were served at a thatched-roof bar and included the Hawaiian beer Longboard Lager.

Hypocrisy and Irony all stringed up on a lei. Let's look at the hypocrisy: Why celebrate? The country is not going down the tubes...it already has. I was hoping for Obama Huts in DC, but not in the White House serving adult beverages. Secondly, hypocrisy in the media. When President Bush had barbeques, went back to his ranch while Iraq was going on...hmmm. Iran is showing its true colors as a theocratic tyranny. Evil Korea is outwardly and specifically threatening nuclear war with the United States. Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan are still going on.

We have the hypocrisy down...and now the Irony: I see how it went down. President Obama gave the menu to the Congressmen (PORK was the main dish). They approved of the PORK and then they ATE IT! The thing many Democrat supporters don't realize is that in the end WE PAY FOR EVERYTHING! We paid for the real PORK and the financial PORK. The American Crown lapping it up in luxury.

Washington, DC — With the Senate health committee convening daily to craft a comprehensive health reform bill, the basic outline of this landmark legislation is now clear.

Yes, it will ensure access to affordable, quality care for every American. [Oh goodie, the government will take care of all of us] But, just as important, it will hold down health care costs by creating a sharp new emphasis on disease prevention and public health. [The only reason it will lower health care costs for Americans is because the government doesn't need to run on a profit, they just print more money.]

As the lead Senator in drafting the Prevention and Public Health section of the bill, I view this legislation as our opportunity to recreate America as a genuine wellness society – a society that is focused on prevention, good nutrition, fitness, and public health. [Whoa! Hold your horses. "Recreate America?" America does not need to be recreated...it needs to be reinvigorated and purged of the Government Plantation. Beware! When they say prevention, etc. they really mean you WILL exercise, get unnecessary tests every month, stop smoking, stop drinking, stop eating sweets, stop eating meat or else you WILL NOT get treatment when something catastrophic happens. Just ask anyone in the UK]

The fact is, we currently do not have a health care system in the United States; we have a sick care system. [So he doesn't want our health taken care of? More re-definition] If you’re sick, you get care, whether through insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP, community health centers, emergency rooms, or charity. [Isn't that the whole point of those things?] The problem is that this is all about patching things up after people develop serious illnesses and chronic conditions. [Please, has this guy never heard of George Burns? This is all leading up to dictating what you can eat and your lifestyle. What are the lifestyle activists known as "gay rights" going to do when this junk goes down? I'm sure they'll be hypocritical about the whole thing.]

We spend a staggering $2.3 trillion annually on health care – 16.5 percent of our GDP and far more than any other country spends on health care – yet the World Health Organization ranks U.S. health care only 37th among nations, on par with Serbia. [Oh, by the way, they fail to mention that of that $2.3 trillion, $547 billion is paid by Medicare and Medicaid (CBO January 2007) or 24% is already paid out by the government. This genius says that we spend more than any other country but then forgets we have the third largest population in the world. The US has a population of about two-thirds of the entire European Union. Only China and India have more people and we know that they are at the same level of health care as us. As for the WHO ranking, let's look at the results:
Death Rate: US 8/1000 people; UK 10/1000 people; Serbia 14/1000 people
Life Expectancy: US 78 years; UK 79 years; Serbia 74 years

(WOW what a difference in the results...we are so much worse off than the UK and so much similar to Serbia, puh-leez)

We spend twice as much per capita on health care as European countries, but we are twice as sick with chronic disease. [Ya, and they also have people waiting on long lists for life-saving surgeries and they also block access to health care for those who need it but don't live the life the government approves]

How can this be so? The problem is that we have systematically neglected wellness and disease prevention. Currently in the United States, 95 percent of every health care dollar is spent on treating illnesses and conditions after they occur. But we spend peanuts on prevention. [Our word of the day: Prevention. The original point to insurance (this is waht everyone means when speakiing of "health care") was for catastrophes.]

The good news in these dismal statistics is that, by reforming our system and focusing on fighting and preventing chronic disease, we have a huge opportunity. We can not only save hundreds of billions of dollars; we can also dramatically improve the health of the American people. [Since when is it the responsibility of the Government to improve the health of the American people. Where is it in the constitution? In the Declaration of Independence? We need to leave it up to the American people to decide what they do to their health.]

Consider this: Right now, some 75 percent of health care costs are accounted for by heart disease, diabetes, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and obesity. What these five diseases and conditions have in common is that they are largely preventable and even reversible by changes in nutrition, physical activity, and lifestyle. [Two points on this one. 80% of health care costs occur for those of the senior persuasion (it's a fact of life) many of the problems he lists happen more commonly in the senior age. Secondly, considering this article is about what the government wants to do to American health care...I don't think the "changes in lifestyle" will be a suggestion, more likely a government mandate.]

Listen to what Dr. Dean Ornish told our Senate health committee: “Studies have shown that changing lifestyle could prevent at least 90 percent of all heart disease. Thus, the disease that accounts for more premature deaths and costs Americans more than any other illness is almost completely preventable, and even reversible, simply by changing lifestyle.” [Of course, Dr Ornish would be doing the preventing...and charging for it. Does prevention really save that much money? I think that is still up in the air. Again...the "change in lifestyle" will not be optional when the government flips the bill.]

It’s not enough to talk about how to extend insurance coverage and how to pay for health care – as important as those things are. It makes no sense just to figure out a better way to pay the bills for a system that is dysfunctional, ineffective, and broken. We also have to change the health care system itself, beginning with a sharp new emphasis on prevention and public health. [So he admits it...cost means nothing. Just print more money.]

We also have to realize that wellness and prevention must be truly comprehensive. It is not only about what goes on in a doctor’s office. It encompasses workplace wellness programs, community-wide wellness programs, building bike paths and walking trails, getting junk food out of our schools, making school breakfasts and lunches more nutritious, increasing the amount of physical activity our children get, and so much more. [If you haven't watched the movie "Demolition Man" with Sly Stallone, watch it because it really sounds like this paragraph. "Be well fellow citizen."]

I am heartened by the fact that the major players in this endeavor – Democrats and Republicans alike – all “get it” when it comes to prevention and public health. We all agree that it must be at the heart of reform legislation. [It's bi-partisan so it's cool, okay.]

As President Obama said in his speech to Congress earlier this year: “[It is time] to make the largest investment ever in preventive care, because that's one of the best ways to keep our people healthy and our costs under control.” [Since when has President Obama been worried about how much something costs? $787 billion there, $1 trillion here.]

No question, comprehensive health reform is an extraordinarily ambitious undertaking. But what makes me optimistic is that all the major groups are playing a constructive role, including those that opposed the 1993-94 health reform effort. Everyone agrees that the current system is broken. [It could be said that the health reform effort of the 1930s is partially at fault here.]

Winston Churchill famously said that “Americans always do the right thing – after they’ve tried everything else.” Well, we’ve tried everything else, and it has led us to bad health and the brink of bankruptcy. [Winston Churchill also said "However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results." I wonder what Churchill would have said when the UK health care system denies him treatment for stroke (he died of stroke) because of his ever-present cigar smoking?]

Comprehensive health reform legislation is our opportunity to change the paradigm. We are going to extend health insurance to every American. And we are going to give our citizens access to a 21st century health care system – one that is focused on helping us to live healthy, active, happy lives. [Living a healthy, active and happy life is up to us. It is up to the individual. Will the government "change" my mind if I'm not happy? Watch "Brazil" or read 1984. Aren't these works supposed to be fiction and not how things should be?]

President Obama claims that universal health care, or the "public option", will reduce costs. Creating a health care insurance branch to the government will kill the private health care insurance industry and boost prices sky-high. Creating a system that does not require a profit (it has an Obamabudget with no bottom just print more money) will charge its customers nothing while paying to health care providers a lot of money. The private companies out there cannot compete against this because they need to run a profit to stay in business. You cannot stay in business if your competitor gives away their product for free. President Obama will then appoint a health care board to run this system. He will appoint doctors and businessmen who believe and follow his steps. (Another Churchill quote: "Never hold discussions with the monkey when the organ grinder is in the room.") If this Czarist Board decides that the elderly are burdening the system they will restrict access. Nothing will stop them. Former Democrat/Progressive Governor of Colorado, Roy Romer has been quoted to say "The elderly have a duty to die." This is how most progressives think. It has its roots in eugenics (no, not the study of Eugenes) and progressivism. Do you remember the stupid classroom activity 6 people in a 5-person boat...who do we throw overboard. This is progressive thought. I reject the premise. Just build a bigger boat. Capitalism and the economy are not zero-sum games...they can grow...OK, I'm getting into another posting another day.

President Obama is trying to kill the private health care system. He will try to do it by injecting gobs of the virus of socialism into our health care system. A health care system already infected by what I will call socialitis progressus, a virus of our civilization, that has been slowly poisoning our country. Socialitis progressus has slowly cost us our individualism. Fortunately, we have the antidote, together we can redress our representatives, educate others and VOTE.

700 NYC teachers are paid to do nothing

NEW YORK – Hundreds of New York City public school teachers accused of offenses ranging from insubordination to sexual misconduct are being paid their full salaries to sit around all day playing Scrabble, surfing the Internet or just staring at the wall, if that's what they want to do.

Because their union contract makes it extremely difficult to fire them, the teachers have been banished by the school system to its "rubber rooms" — off-campus office space where they wait months, even years, for their disciplinary hearings.

According to salary.com, the average teacher's salary in New York City (Brooklyn) is $60,173. Multiply that by 700 teachers, that's $42 million of waste (thanks to the teachers' union).

The Education Department announced a $405 million cut Tuesday, an average of 4.9% per school.

If the City was able to fire these dead-beat teachers, that would knock the average cut per school to 4.4%... and that doesn't include the amount it costs for their full benefits.

GM probably figured since their union was bankrupting them and public teachers' unions would have bankrupted the government...oh wait, the government is never bankrupt. Just print more money. Why doesn't NYC schools ask for a bailout?

Where's the outrage over this by ACORN and other "community organizations"? They ragged on AIG bonuses...this is a joke.

Obama announces agreement with drug companies

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama on Monday welcomed the pharmaceutical industry's agreement to help close a gap in Medicare's drug coverage, calling the pact a step forward in the push for overhaul of the health care system.

Obama said that drug companies have pledged to spend $80 billion over the next decade to help reduce the cost of drugs for seniors and pay for a portion of Obama's health care legislation. The agreement with the pharmaceutical industry would help close a gap in prescription drug coverage under Medicare.

"This is a significant breakthrough on the road to health care reform, one that will make a difference in the lives of many older Americans," Obama said in the White House's Diplomatic Room.

Obama said the move will help correct an anomaly in the program that provides a prescription drug benefit through Medicare. Under the deal, drug companies will pay part of the cost of brand name drugs for lower and middle-income older people in the so-called "doughnut hole." That term refers to a feature of the current drug program that requires beneficiaries to pay the entire cost of prescriptions after initial coverage is exhausted but before catastrophic coverage begins.

"It's a reform that will make prescription drugs more affordable for millions of seniors and restore a measure of fairness," Obama said.

Obama said some Medicare beneficiaries will find at least a 50 percent discount on prescription drugs. Obama says drug companies stand to benefit when more Americans can afford prescription drugs.

The drug companies' investment would reduce the cost of drugs for seniors and pay for a portion of Obama's proposed revamping of health care. The deal was struck with Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, as well as the White House.

The president was joined Monday in announcing the deal by Barry Rand, head of the senior citizens' advocacy group AARP, as well as Baucus and Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn.

"This is an early win for reform," Rand said.

Where's the journalism here? If the pharmaceutical companies are really on board and gung-ho, why aren't they represented in this article? All I read is Obama said this, AARP says that. Why wasn't the "other side" contacted? Or does His Presidency need no follow up. I'm sure if this is entirely true, the companies freely agreed to this pact. Or was it political muscling and Obama's "charisma" that coherced them. I'm sure it's the charisma and messiah complex. He miraculously changes the hearts and minds of companies so there's no need to get anybody else's info about it...Obama is enough.

You know I can't stand Progressive's changing our vocabulary. (One would say calling socialists something like Progressive is changing it, but I believe that a Progressive is a precise way of saying someone who would progressively lead our country (bit by bit) into socialism). Many Progressives love to say that Americans need to sacrifice more in the way of taxes. People like Cindy Sheehan would say that Bush sacrificed her son for an immoral war. I think we need to clarify the difference between sacrifice and service.

Sacrifice can be most easily described and exhibited by Jesus Christ. He was the ultimate sacrifice. He loves everyone and was willing to die to make men free. Not only die in the face of adversity, but die willingly. He could have spoken against His accusers, He could have gotten a pardon from Pontius Pilate.

When someone ENLISTS in the Armed Forces, they do so willingly. We do not have a draft. Our forces are voluntary. And they SERVE our country honorably. I found something interesting (yet it does come from Wikipedia so it should be true) about Cindy Sheehan's son, Casey:
"Near the end of his active service, the U.S. invasion of Iraq began. Sheehan re-enlisted, knowing that his unit would be sent there.[4] Sheehan's division, the First Cavalry Division, was sent to Iraq. On March 19, 2004, Sheehan's Battery C, 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, arrived at FOB War Eagle in Sadr City. On April 4, 2004, Sheehan was killed in action after volunteering to be part of a Quick Reaction Force to rescue American troops."

I would venture to say that nobody sacrifices their life for the President or the country or the military. A sacrifice means you are willing die for your country even if you can get out of dying. The military doesn't work if its soldiers die. The ultimate goal of the military is to accomplish the mission and keep everyone alive. Cindy Sheehan is wrong. Her son did not sacrifice his life because of Bush. He sacrificed his life for his brothers. He re-enlisted, and volunteered to save his brothers; he died so his brothers could live. Cindy Sheehan does not get it. Her son didn't have to do what he did; but he did it anyway.

My favorite movie is Glory. I admit it, I get teary-eyed when I watch it. Captain Shaw didn't have to lead his regiment on a frontal assault of Fort Wagner, in fact he was told that his men were tired and shouldn't do it...his men were behind him all the way.

It is the sacrifice of one's life for his brother/friend that we honor.

So when Progressives call for us to "sacrifice" by paying more taxes I laugh. Because maybe they are truly talking about real sacrifice. If paying more taxes to give to the government plantation is me giving something up with control.... nope, taxes are not sacrifice. If they were we would have the option of paying them or not. Just like Jesus had the option of dying or not, like Casey Sheehan had the option of re-enlisting or not.

So...are paying taxes a sacrifice if it's forced? NO! Paying or donating time to a charity out of the kindness of our hearts IS. We need more of that and less government in our lives.

Socialism will come with a happy face :)

Mich. judges get discretion after Muslim veil flap

LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan Supreme Court on Wednesday voted to give judges authority over how witnesses dress in court after a Muslim woman refused to remove her veil while testifying in a small claims case.

A statewide court rule letting judges regulate the appearance of witnesses — such as asking them to remove face coverings — was approved by a 5-2 vote. The dissenters said there should be an exception for people whose clothing is dictated by their religion.

Justices heard last month from a Muslim woman who sued because her small claims case was dismissed when she refused to remove her veil.

Hamtramck District Judge Paul Paruk told Ginnnah Muhammad he needed to see her face to judge her truthfulness. The 45-year-old from Detroit kept her niqab on during the 2006 hearing.

Some Muslim leaders interpret the Quran to require that women wear a headscarf, veil or burqa in the presence of a man who is not their husband or close relative.

Muhammad originally went to court to contest a $3,000 charge from a rental-car company to repair a vehicle that she said thieves had broken into. The ACLU said Muhammad did not want to speak with the media Wednesday.

Here, here for the Michigan Supreme Court. This is along the same line as states not allowing head coverings on IDs (please what would be the point?), or the secretary that was wrongly fired because she ate a BLT.

The judge in this case needed to observe the plaintiff while she was on the stand in order to make a judgment about her truthfulness. We are not in Iran, we are not under the oppresive Sharia Law.

Under Christianity there may be fringe groups that still disrespect women by not allowing them freedom, but that's why they're fringe. Unfortunately, many mohammedans still "kill women with kindness". Think Taming of the Shrew, coddling women so much that their will is broken and their freedom stomped. Where are the bra burning feminist activists?

Islam has many different interpretations. I won't venture to guess what percentage are peaceful and freedom-loving.

Here's the problem with Islam in a free society:
It is not only a religion, it's a political, economic and religious system. As in Christianity, the main tenets govern a believer's relationship with his Creator and his fellow man - The Golden Rule and Ten Commandments. In Islam, apart from the religious aspect and relationships is Sharia Law which includes politics, economics, contracts, family issues, sexuality, hygiene and many social issues (including wearing burqas).

Mohammedans' belief system may hinder their ability to be free in our society and rubs against the freedoms of individuals. Do we allow polygamy as well? Disallowing polygamy is a prohibition of Islamic belief.

We as a nation, in order to secure a free and individualist society, must resist the creeping in of Sharia Law under the guise of "religious freedom". While one can argue that forcing a woman to take a burqa off is "prohibiting the free exercise" of religion, I put forth this: When a religion greatly abridges the freedoms of women in the name of "decency", then it fails to be a religion. But it becomes a system of law that spits upon the Declaration of Independence and the whole point of our founding, and works to subvert.

It is up to the freedom-loving mohammedans in this country to combat viral Islam that segregates itself from American society.

Don't call me ma'am, Senator Barbara Boxer (D.-Calif.) barked at him as he started to explain delays in repairs to New Orleans's levee system.

"Do me a favor," she continued. "Could you call me 'Senator' instead of 'ma'am'? It's just a thing. I worked so hard to get that title, so I'd appreciate it, yes, thank you."

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in his first response to the protests that the country's disputed presidential vote had not been rigged, siding with hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and offering no concessions to the opposition. He effectively ruled out any chance for a new vote, lauding the June 12 election as an expression of the people's will.

"Some of our enemies in different parts of the world intended to depict this absolute victory, this definitive victory, as a doubtful victory," Khamenei said at Friday prayers at Tehran University. "It is your victory. They cannot manipulate it."

He said Tuesday that opposition to Ahmadinejad represented "a questioning of the kinds of antagonistic postures towards the international community that have taken place in the past, and that there are people who want to see greater openness and greater debate and want to see greater democracy."

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey, taken just before the election protests broke out in Iran this week, finds that 32% of voters now think that relationship will get better in the next year, although 28% say things will get worse in that time period.
At the beginning of the month just before the president's speech in Cairo, 28% of voters said the U.S. relationship with the Muslim world would be better a year from now, while 21% expected it to worsen.

The biggest change is in the number who expect the relationship to remain about the same. Thirty-five percent (35%) feel that way now, down from 45% two weeks ago.

Let's see... the Supreme Leader (Ayatollah) of Iran says the people have spoken. OK, the fact that they have a Supreme Leader running things behind the figure-head of a "President" is a joke to a democratic republic. He accuses the Obama Administration of hypocrisy or at least what the Bush Administration was accused of (bipolar and contradictory policies).

Obama has no clue what he's doing? I guess Hope goes just so far. At least the Bush Administration didn't make speeches and promises they couldn't back up. This President makes a grand gesture (quite a Change in foreign policy) but in the end it is all lip service like his campaign was. When the leaders of the muslim world realize that Obama is a typical American politician and not someone who has the will to back up his words (right or wrong) they will walk all over him while smiling at his face. It is quite honorable to lie with a straight and happy face to an infidel especially knowing he won't do anything.

The headline from Rasmussen is all wrong for the data. The real news is not how many see a better relationship with the muslim world, it is this:

2 weeks ago: 28% better, 21% worse, 45% same (6% don't know?)
Now: 32% better, 28% worse, 35% same (5% don't know?)

Looking at the changes in perception 4% more people think things are getting better, while 7% more people think things will get worse.

These are not good trends for Obama, I thought he would improve our image around the world by just being President.

The president, irritated by an omnipresent fly during a TV interview at the Executive Mansion Tuesday, took matters into his own hands.

Said Obama to the persistent fly: "Get out of here."

But it didn't.

So Obama waited for the fly to settle, put his hand up and then smacked the fly dead in one try.

Without missing a beat, the president said to CNBC correspondent John Harwood: "Now, where were we?"

Well, maybe one more second to gloat.

Does anyone think this is disgusting? He didn't wash his hands or use something other than his hands? He thought it was impressive to kill a fly. I know this might sound petty; it is. This reminds me of the scene in Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark; where Belloq eats a fly as Indiana threatens to blow up the Ark. He ate a fly and kept on acting and they used it. Now that's impressive.

I killed a fly with my hands a couple days ago...I washed them immediately.

One thing Obama has learned from the incident: The fly didn't respond to talk "Get out of here"; Obama had to resort to force and kill the fly. He should have asked his interviewer to help in talking the fly into leaving instead of using force.

Obama cites decades of mistakes behind recession

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is offering a broad-scale overhaul of the financial system, saying hard times struck largely because a post-Depression era business regulatory scheme couldn't keep up with an increasingly global economy.

In remarks readied for the unveiling of new rules to govern business, Obama attributed much of the country's current problem to "a cascade of mistakes and missed opportunities" which happened over several decades.

His plan would bestow vast new powers on the Federal Reserve, authorizing it to oversee the entire financial system. It also would create a new consumer protection agency to guard against the types of abuses that played a big role in the current crisis.

The president said in his prepared remarks that "a culture of irresponsibility took root from Wall Street to Washington to Main Street."

After reading all this, Why did Washington pass TARP (bank bailout)? The bailout was supposed to fix everything. Bush pushed it. Obama was for it. McCain was for it.

Credit is still frozen. Sure, the banks are trying to pay it back (so Washington won't have any more control over them), but has anything changed? No.

The economy is doing horribly. Unemployment is the worst since over 20 years. The only thing saving Americans is the lower cost of living due to low gas prices...except that gas prices have gone up almost 100% since Obama's been President.

Obama was wrong with bailing out the banks, he is wrong in spending trillions of dollars we don't have on temporary fixes, and he's wrong with taking more power from private businesses to make decisions bad or good. We need to let companies fail. We spent billions on GM and it still failed. This is irresponsible.

We need to vote these bums out. Obama can't do all this without the Democrats/Progressives in Congress cowtowing to his whim. The only chance we have is to stop the hemmorhaging through Congress in 2010 and then vote the "Little Dictator" and his czars out in 2012.

Wow! They are very bold to suggest cutting Medicare and Medicaid to help pay for universal health care; let alone increasing taxes $600 billion. Rangel suggests $400 billion and Obama adds an addition $313 billion, that would be over $700 billion in cuts to elderly care. Then they get you with this additional $600 billion in tax increases.

According to Forbes, the top 400 richest Americans are worth $1,250 billion, so if you were to not only tax to 400 richest Americans but take all their wealth it would pay for Obama's health care system for ten years...but then how would you pay for the Recovery Act, the budget, the bank bailouts...

Those of you who depend upon Medicare and Medicaid...watch your services drop and your income drop.

Obama thinks he needs a real crisis so that he can get America out of its funk. Will he implement a full Missile Defense System? Will Evil Korea pass up an opportunity to send a nuke to US soil knowing the President would probably not retaliate? Perhaps Pearl Harbor II? Perhaps Obama is like FDR and "hopes" for things to pick up or an opportunity to build his legacy...at the expense of American lives. Obama may have learned from history and thinks that a national tragedy and serious war will get him off the hook for the economy.

Austin ER's got 2,678 visits from 9 people over 6 years

In the past six years, eight people from Austin and one from Luling racked up 2,678 emergency room visits in Central Texas, costing hospitals, taxpayers and others $3 million, according to a report from a nonprofit made up of hospitals and other providers that care for the uninsured and low-income Central Texans.

The report that mentioned the nine high-frequency patients didn't include reasons for all of those ER visits and didn't identify the patients because of privacy laws. But Kitchen, a former state legislator from Austin, gave a sketch: All nine speak English; three are homeless; five are women whose average age is 40, and four are men whose average age is 50. Seven have a mental health diagnosis and eight have a drug abuse diagnosis. Kitchen said she did not know their citizenship status.

We need to support this. It may be the only way Christian doctors and hospitals in business if the Freedom of Choice Act is ever enacted.

Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 - Amends the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act to prohibit a person from possessing a firearm unless that person has been issued a firearm license under this Act or a state system certified under this Act and such license has not been invalidated or revoked. Prescribes license application, issuance, and renewal requirements.

Prohibits transferring or receiving a qualifying firearm unless the recipient presents a valid firearms license, the license is verified, and the dealer records a tracking authorization number. Prescribes firearms transfer reporting and record keeping requirements. Directs the Attorney General to establish and maintain a federal record of sale system.
We need to fight this one and keep a close eye on it. It seems like it invalidates every gun permit in America and force gun owners to reapply under this law's stricter rules. But the scariest part is the "federal record of sale system". Where is the ACLU? Where are all the people who complained about the Patriot Act being intrusive? What happened to the progressive ideal of a right to privacy?

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke want to give the Fed, which regulates banks, and the Securities and Exchange Commission, which oversees the financial markets, greater powers to guide compensation practices on Wall Street and beyond.
Have you ever heard of the executive branch of our government essentially usurping the power of the legislature by putting caps on bonuses. If a company inappropriately offers a bonus and it doesn't work for them...they deserve to fail. Our government should not make this decision. We can all ooh and aah at how much these guys make and think it's horrible. But it plays into class warfare and envy. If you think that a person getting a massive bonus-by contract (it seems regardless of whether they do good or not) is wrong that is Envy. Besides, a couple hundred million dollars in bonuses is nothing compared to how much these companies (billions and billions) are getting from the government. The government is an enabler.

Czars have no accountability, no oversight, no confirmation and no requirement of transparency. Just ask Neil Cavuto, he's been asking to talk to the car czar since his appointment, with no response, nobody knows where he is. Transparency?

Just as any two-bit dictator, His Presidency has appointed mini dictators, over parts of our economy and way of life, who don't need to be confirmed by the legislature and don't have to report to them either.

This is exactly what the Founding Fathers did not want to happen and that's why they developed the three branches of government. We have three separate branches with equal footing and "checks and balances" to assure that not one person or group of people could amass the entire power of the government. This is Civics 101. But when czars are appointed it subverts the checks and balances and equality of our three branch system. It allows the President himself to rule without restraint.

Essentially, Obama is trying to run the entire government with his buddies and ideological colleagues. In the process, by-passing the will of the people through their elected representative.

Court adds uncertainty to Chrysler reorganization

NEW YORK – Chrysler's five weeks of breakneck-speed bankruptcy proceedings came to a screeching — but possibly temporary — halt Monday, when a Supreme Court justice delayed its sale of assets to Italy's Fiat.
His Presidency, with His Car Czar has pushed this deal. It really surprises me that it is Justice Ginsburg, possibly the most progressive on the Court, that is putting a stay on the sale of Chrysler to Fiat.

Despite the aggressive objections of a trio of Indiana state pension and construction funds that own a small part of Chrysler's secured debt, the automaker has moved swiftly through the Chapter 11 process.
The key word here is secured debt. Secured debt has priority over unsecured. It always had. And when they say the automaker has moved swiftly...that's at the behest of His Presidency.

Chrysler's ability to speed through the process has partially been a result of the involvement of the Obama administration's auto task force, which provided $4.5 billion in bankruptcy financing and helped negotiate a deal between the company's stakeholders.
The article eventually says where that $4.5 billion comes from...TARP (bank bailout money)?. Does this smell fishy?

The United Auto Workers union will get a 55 percent stake that will be used to fund its retiree health care obligations, while the U.S. and Canadian governments will receive a combined 10 percent stake.
Ah, this is the rub. SO, His Presidency is just fulfilling his promise to Joe the Plumber. He is spreading the wealth, no... he's returning the wealth to what he perceives as the rigthful owner...or just a political payback for the UAW.

Meanwhile, the automaker's secured debtholders would get $2 billion in cash, or about 29 cents on the dollar, for their combined $6.9 billion in debt. Some of the debtholders balked at the deal, saying as secured lenders they deserved more.
They do deserve more. And the 29 cents on the dollar His Administration is forcing, while the UAW gets the majority stakes in the company after restructuring...is socialism...no it's despotism, maybe Hugo Chavezesque.

The funds also are challenging the constitutionality of the Treasury Department's use of money from the Troubled Asset Relief Program to supply Chrysler's bankruptcy protection financing. They say the government did so without congressional authority.
This is crazy...we thought this money was for the banks to open up credit?

In summary:
His Administration might have illegally spent money meant for the banks on Chrysler, forced them to sell out to Fiat, while selling out take priority away from the rightful debtors and give his lobbyists and financial backers...UAW, a payback; there I said it again.

Defiant settlers build new outpost near Migron containing 'Obama Hut'

In defiance of US President Barack Obama's call on Israel to stop settlement activity, defiant settlers built a new outpost on Friday morning between Migron and Kochav Ya'acov.

At the outpost, which they named Oz Yehonatan, the settlers built a wooden structure they mockingly called the "Obama Hut," saying it was a sign of appreciation for the US president for his actions that had led to a dramatic rise in the number of outposts.

One of the activists said of Obama, "He's an Arab Muslim and a gentile, he is fighting against the Jewish people and has declared that he will continue to do so. We already stated our intention to continue to build, no matter who is fighting us - Egypt, Germany or the US."

"Obama, in his audacity, dreams that 350,000 Jews can be removed from Judea and Samaria, but they are a fact that cannot be changed," [National Union MK Michael Ben-Ari] was quoted by Army Radio as saying.

I'm surprised the Obama huts started in Israel first. It's only a matter of time before the unemployed masses in America start camping in Obama Huts in Washington DC and around the US to protest His Presidency's horrid economic policies; just like the Hooverville of the Great Depression.

-Note: As a certain commentator has noted... the Obama Huts in Israel are actually larger than the other Obama Hut in Kenya that His Presidency's half-brother George lives in. George has been recently arrested for marijuana possession and was taken form his hut. Obama is definitely not his brother's keeper.

It was at the beginning of the Great Depression that Hoover became President. He enacted the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act. It raised tariffs on imported goods and was not repealed until after World War II.

Unemployment never got below double digits until America was slapped in the face by World War II. Hoover and FDR's policies did not save jobs. It was the War and the repeal of their policies after the War that kept unemployment down. The $787 billion Recovery Act is just a bigger attempt to show up FDRs try, which was a bigger attempt to try and show up Hoover. Hoover didn't spend enough, FDR didn't spend enough...His Presidency will. So much for change and hope.

Look at this report, specifically Figure 1 on Page 5. Look at the figure on this posting. I've superimposed the actual unemployment rate in red.
So, considering the Plan has passed and without it we would have had less unemployment...why did His Presidency push it so hard. The Recovery Plan was never about job creation. Otherwise, the $787 billion to create 3.5 million jobs, would have gone directly to the unemployed to last them the three years it would take to get back to normal. $780 billion divide by 3.5 million equals $222,860 per job, divide that by three years and each unemployed would have had $74,290 a year to live on... ($7 billion is generous for program operations) But, it wasn't about jobs and keeping people afloat. It was about keeping more State, County and Local governments as well as private businesses on the Plantation.
Oh, the co-writer for this report was Jared Bernstein (Office of the Vice President-Elect) so this might be just another gaffe.

Jobless rate hits 9.4 percent in May; layoffs slow

According to the numbers given us at the beginning, we are now above the estimated unemployment rate numbers if we did nothing, and quicker than expected. So, either the Recovery Act has accelerated unemployment or the original projections were off and we plunged head first into a Recovery Act with bad numbers. This smacks of Iraqi WMDs. Progressives love to harp on the Bush Administration saying they lied about WMDs, the reason we went into Iraq and that we need to leave Iraq because we were lied to.

We were lied to when His Presidency told us (through His Council of Economic Advisers) that if we pass the Recovery Act, the unemployment rate would not reach 8%, we are now 1.4% above that mark. We were lied to and need to pull out of the Recovery Act. This is an immoral Act that has lost too many jobs and for what? Where's Cindy Sheehan.

-Taxation of outcome discourages that outcome, be it income, cigarettes or liquor. A tax is not a debt to the government incurred by an Individual. The American Crown wishes to impose taxes upon the People without regard to the People.

-That the Government shall not impede or interfere with the operation or competition between and within business entities.

-That the Individual shall be free to serve his self-interest. The selfish American Crown shall not be free to impose their beliefs upon the Individual.

The Government must protect the Rights of the Individual. We have become Great Nation not because we inherited wealth and prosperity, but that we created it and will continue to create it. On the Glenn Beck show this very afternoon (with two analysts, one being the British economist Stuart Varney/paraphrased):

The British Prime Minister has spend enormous amounts of money to try and "spend" his way out of this crisis, just like Congress and His Presidency has done. They have just recently drained their treasury. Varney went on to say that a vote of no-confidence will happen and the PM's government will fall and a new government will emerge...Congress here will see this and shake in their boots. We can only HOPE.

One more thing discussed was the sorry state California is in. And that as we speak, Congressman Barney Frank is drafting a bill that would allow the federal government to guarantee California's debt. If this happens the other states ("blue states"), such as New Jersey, Michigan, will follow suit and it will cascade. For the states being "bailed out" they will cease to be sovereign. California will be a federal department. Californians will no longer be represented by their own people. The federal government (His Administration) will run and put restrictions on California. All the progressive baggage in Washington will rain down on California...just like GM..hmmm, let's divvy up California. But the worst repercussion of this will be the 49 other states that will be flipping the bill. 49 other states did not have the opportunity to vote for the pork in California. Is that not Taxation without Representation?

One more thing aside: According to the Boston Herald, "President Obama outraged by slaying of abortion provider George Tiller". Yet not one peep out of His mouth, the mouth of His Administration or the mouth of the head of the Armed Forces (or an official statement) regarding the murder of a GI in front of the recruiter in Little Rock, AR. How dare He dishonor a serviceman by not saying a word. Why isn't he outraged by the "other" murder of a man that has sworn his life to protect Him?!!

After consulting with the White House and Congress, it was determined that the document, including sensitive attachment, should be permanently removed from the Web site."

Was Vice President Biden behind this? It has to be him. This is too stupid not to be.

This is sad and scary. I thought the bumblings of the past President were going to change. There are changes though. If this was the Bush Administration the headline would be "Bush Administration posts sensitive list of US nuclear sites" or "White House posts sensitive list of US nuclear sites". No, it's the government posting. Read the second paragraph:

"The 266-page document was published on May 6 as a transmission from President Barack Obama to Congress. According to the document, the list was required by law and will be provided to the International Atomic Energy Agency." So why wasn't it sent physically or internally...and not on the public's website? Are these people dangerous or what? They can claim it wasn't sensitive information, but they did take it off the website immediately (once they found out).

After reading the statement from the GPO (above*), now read this from the same article: "While we would have preferred it not be released, the Departments of Energy, Defense, and Commerce and the NRC all thoroughly reviewed it to ensure that no information of direct national security significance would be compromised,"

So which one is it? "including sensitive attachment" or "no information of direct national security" So, I guess, it's important but not THAT important, but either way it should not have been posted.

I have to ask again: Was Vice President Biden behind this?

This is a side note about credit. I find it interesting that many people I know (with great credit and pay on time) have recently seen increases in their credit card interest rates.

The measure would rein in interest rate increases and take other steps to protect consumers. The House, which has passed a similar bill, is expected to approve the Senate version today. By James Oliphant-May 20, 2009.

Just maybe these two things are related. When they say "protect consumers" they really mean dead-beat consumers, those who don't read the fine print. So I can't blame the credit card companies for raising the rates on those who can pay, if they're going to be stuck with those who end up not paying as well. Another government gaffe in economics...and the good people pay for it. Back to the main story.

There, he said it. A global economy. And it will require substantial changes to economic policy and financial regulation. He isn't saying that we need a stable global economy. No, we need to transition, "change" our economy into a world-wide one, one currency and more oligarchical control.

"Although the United States and China start from very different positions, many of our domestic challenges are similar. In the United States, we are working to reform our health care system, to improve the quality of education, to rebuild our infrastructure, and to improve energy efficiency. These reforms are essential to boosting the productive capacity of our economy. These challenges are at the center of your reform priorities, too."

So, Geithner is admitting that we start from very different positions (democratic republic and capitalist vs. communist nation with capitalist leanings). The key word here is start. Does this mean we end with...socialism? Or China Lite? His Administration sees universal health care as a crisis. This is a challenge similar to China's reform priorities? Let me restate this: Health care is a crisis in the US, His Administration sees China's health care policies similar to His.

"In China, as your leadership has recognized, growth that is sustainable growth will require a very substantial shift from external to domestic demand, from an investment and export intensive driven growth, to growth led by consumption. Strengthening domestic demand will also strengthen China's ability to weather fluctuations in global supply and demand."

This is scary. He is concurring with the Chinese that they need to stop or slow exporting and focus on domestic consumption (sounds like a Seinfeld episode, where's Art Van de Lay). Let's see, we are the top importer of Chinese goods, and they're cheap. China cuts off our supply of cheap goods, our inflation hits new highs (thank you drunken spending and His Federal Reserve Bank)...not a good mix; can you say hyperinflation and the Weimar Republic? As much as I have many problems with union hierarchy. Unions do/did serve a purpose. Ultimately, they prove Marx wrong.

Marx believed that with Capitalism, eventually the worker would overthrow the capitalist and establish a social utopia. Unions are the natural "release valve" of Capitalism.

It's not until socialists (ie His Presidency and other progressives owning GM) give unions the power to control companies that Marx is vindicated. So, it isn't the worker that overthrows, it's the socialist himself.

Pro-Life vs. Anti-Abortion vs. Pro-Death

Kansas Abortion Provider Killed At Church
Morning Edition (NPR), June 1, 2009 · Dr. George Tiller was one of the nation's few providers of late-term abortions. He was shot and killed in the foyer of his church Sunday, where he was serving as an usher.

I have many problems with the way this news story is being reported.

First, the title, I cannot find one title that says he was murdered. He was murdered. Murder is illegal, killing is not. Why is it "killed", "slain", "gunned down"? The Pro-Death movement in America has always been careful that they call the unborn, a fetus or viable organism. It is a battle of vocabulary. Why isn't it called feticide? "Fetus" is Latin for offspring...I digress. Dr Tiller was murdered, murder is wrong no matter what the victim does for a living. And killing the unborn is wrong because they have no recourse and are the most innocent human beings on earth.

Second, they all harp on the idea that he was murdered in his home church. Since when did NPR care about churchgoers? (Other than His Presidency...oh wait the very wrong Rev. Wright, never mind) It seems that progressives are now concerned with the religious, as long as they are Pro-Death.

Lastly, progressives see a hypocrisy in anti-abortion activist killing an abortion doctor. "Aren't they pro-life?" No. There is a difference. There is no hypocrisy. An anti-abortionist wants to stop abortions, regardless of life. This group is very specific, abortion. So murdering an abortion doctor is not against what an anti-abortionist believes should happen, less opportunities for abortions. Pro-Life activists do not condone abortion, murder, capital punishment or assisted suicide. Operation Rescue has publicly denounced the murder.

Abortion is the immoral, killing of an individual or individuals (the smallest minority in America). They are a separate human being, not a part of the mother that can be thrown away, he/she is a unique human organism with unique DNA. There are only two natural outcomes, a baby or miscarriage/still birth.

BUT, the biggest problem I have with what happened is the fact that Dr. Tiller was at church, let alone an usher. It must have been like Nazi Germany. The Church teaches life and that it mourns the loss of life caused by abortions. So when a prominent abortion doctor is part of your congregation, it seems that is like what the Christians in Germany did when their government and fellow Germans "took care of the Jews" and they did nothing. The blindness is blinding.

"Because we believe that God is the creator of life, the number of induced abortions is a source of deep concern to this church. We mourn the loss of life that God has created.[A] The strong Christian presumption is to preserve and protect life. Abortion ought to be an option only of last resort. Therefore, as a church we seek to reduce the need to turn to abortion as the answer to unintended pregnancies.[B]" - Evangelical Lutheran Church of America website

If the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dr. Tiller's church is a member, believes in the reduction of abortions why is an abortion doctor a member? Is he reducing abortions? No, that would mean he doesn't work, and he's not a newbie at this. Was he a hypocrite? Or a very, very torn man.

GM - Government Motors

By now everyone knows that GM is filing for bankruptcy.

His Presidency knows better than us. He's smarter than u.s. That's why "we" elected Him.

He thought that giving money, no....boat loads of money in the billions, to a failing business was a good thing. A business failing because it's labor costs and shift away from vehicles Americans want (no thanks to CAFE standards), shouldn't be given more money to spend...it should die. The corporation should die and go bankrupt. GM is bleeding to death and His Presidency wanted to give it more blood without patching the holes.

So after His Presidency says we can't let GM fail and it's an emergency to give them these multiple infusions of money...they still fail. And now that they're in bankruptcy He still wants to give advice. Maybe he should play Automobile Tycoon on his PC and leave the real-world business to those who work in the business. He would probably lose on the PC as well.

Pouring in billions of our money (both existing and freshly printed for our children) into failing business is bad business, but than again He was a community organizer and has lots and lots of experience in business.

Negative Liberties are Positive

The Constitution was created to ensure the liberties of the individual and protect the individual against the tyranny of the masses and government. These negative liberties restrict what the government can do to the individual (the smallest minority in America). The Founding Fathers were not evil men that put constraints on civil rights, they saw the corruption of the British government and how it abridged the liberties of American colonists. And they didn't want the new United States of America to become corrupted in the same way, ergo they restrained the government's liberties. This is a GOOD thing.

"If you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court, I think where it succeeded was to invest formal rights in previously dispossessed peoples so that I would now have the right to vote, I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order and -- and as long as I could pay for it I'd be okay. But the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society. As radical as I think people tried to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical. It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as it has been interpreted -- and Warren Court interpreted it in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. It says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you. But it doesn't say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf. Let's read the preamble to the Constitution:
"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Where does it say that Americans have negative liberty? Where does it say that health care is an issue? Obama talks about "redistributive change" he really is talking about His form of justice. Mike Rosen wrote in the Rocky Mountain News March 31, 2000: "Conservatives believe in equality of opportunity. Liberals believe in equality of outcome." Because not everyone can be a millionaire, nobody should be. Because not everyone can afford health care, those who can should pay for those who cannot. When He talks about the civil rights movement, He is talking about African-American liberties, liberties that the Republican Party in the 1960s championed. When He talks about redistribution in the context of the civil rights movement, something he talked to Joe the Plumber about, He really means redistribution of non-racial minority money to racial minorities. Dare I say His Presidency is a "reverse-..."? I better not, His Homeland Security has issued a warning on rightwing extremists.

"generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. It says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you." He's talking about the Bill of Rights. Yes, these are negative liberties, but they are liberties that the government shall NOT have. SO, is His Presidency saying that this is wrong? Let's read the Bill of Rights as His Presidency would have it:

Entitlements, Subsidies and Checkbooks

Schwarzenegger Eyes End To Calif. Welfare Program
All Things Considered (NPR), May 28, 2009 · Saying that the state is "backed into a corner," California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has proposed $5 billion in deep spending cuts....

Progressives love entitlements and subsidies. Dangle some gift or prize in front of someone, like some carrot and horse, make them do some loops that you enjoy watching...because progressives are more educated than you and know better. Yeah right!

My wife used a clever teaching tool when she taught elementary school. She used a checkbook system. Instead of dangling prizes for doing work or homework, she gave her students a tool that gave them the power to choose and make decisions in their own self-interest. Each student was given a checkbook, as a condition of being in class they were given a salary. They would have to pay for renting their desk; they would be charged if they caused trouble. Using the checkbook/capitalism system they managed their money, learned a budget and math. She would not give her students subsidies or entitlements. Students will never learn responsibility for their actions.

When you continually bribe someone with a prize if they do something...they will always expect a prize. So when we bribe or subsidize women to have children and tell them it's OK because we will subsidize you with welfare...are we really teaching them anything? Too many people have become slaves to entitlement and subsidy and government. Farmers get paid by the government not to grow food.

The federal government has become the national Plantation. The plantation is an institution that enslaves men and women. And the ultimate outcome is more money and power for the masters.

His Presidency has increased our debt into the trillions (yet He and the media are worried about a couple hundred million dollars in bonuses...0.02% puh-leez, but that's another post another day) to buy GM, Chrysler, AIG...who's next? The banking system and auto industry are slowly being brought into the Plantation. His Presidency (I mean the master) tells Chrsyler and GM, "You need to slim up..." they drop thousands of dealers leading to tens-of thousands of jobs lost (the average dealer has near 50 employees). The master runs the banks and auto companies.

In stead of working toward their own self-interest, these companies and "recepients" have succombed to the "greater good".

In the end, welfare is a part of our national Plantation, it subsidizes women to have children who will grow up thinking government is the end all and the party and people who have, for decades, "fought" the war on poverty have yet to win it and are losing big time. When will they break their bonds from a failure of a policy.

The poor, GM, Chrysler, the farmer GET OFF THE PLANTATION. Stop the cycle of poverty and degradation. Stop working for the master, stop making government babies...

I will preface this posting by saying that this is all predicated on Evil Korea's eventual evil actions.

His Presidency and the State Department has failed.

Barry Obama (and even H.R. Clinton) during Decision 2008 harped on the failed foreign policies of the Bush Administration. In fact, the most said phrases of that campaign had to be "failed Bush policies" and "the failures of the last eight years". With H.R. Clinton's extensive foreign policy experience and His Presidency's charm and charisma, they were going to change the way the world likes us.

Now Obama becomes His Presidency and H.R. Clinton heads the State Department, everyone likes us, they really, really like us....

The progressive movement loves to say that talking with the people who hate us and understanding why they hate us will make the world a safer place. I assume that H.R. Clinton used these tactics when talking with Evil Korea. So, if talking with Kim Jong-Il was working why does he hate us? Why did he pull out of the military truce with Good Korea?

Let's see, Obama policies and (in)actions have led to nuclear tests, missile tests, cancelling of a truce with Good Korea, threatening the U.N. Security Council... the Korean Peninsula on the brink of war (dare I say nuclear war). I think I would consider these failed policies; this is if you consider the proposed outcome of His Presidency's policies. These things didn't happen during the Bush Administration...he didn't fail.

Going back to the article: NO WHERE is it mentioned about Obama's policies, H.R. Clinton, the State Department, leading to this or not being able to stop this.

"I don't think that anybody in the (Obama) administration thinks there is a crisis," Gates told reporters aboard his military jet early Friday.

This is a curious quote. I wish the text could convey sarcasm. Italicize "(Obama) administration" and it sounds like Secretary Gates says something totally different than reading it dead-pan.

Let's look back in history: Neville Chamberlain's infamous Munich Agreement (an appeaser's Holy Grail); he wanted to talk and sit down and hash out the differences with the evil men. Well, we see how well that worked. But Neville wasn't an American progressive. Let's let right kind of people (His Presidency) try it now and things will be so much different (sarcasm).

His Presidency, please don't repeat the failed policies of the Chamberlain Administration.

If Evil Korea hits Good Korea (and the American military there) and His Presidency acts peacefully without retaliation, a whole lot of Americans will be mad. If he does act, then his peacemongering progressive friends will hate him as well, especially the ones that fund His on-going 2012 Presidential Campaign.

"Second, I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life." -Sonia Sotomayor

Really? So when she takes the oath to "administer justice without respect to persons", will she be going back on some of her beliefs? Can she say this oath with a straight face?

The Associated Progressives/Associate Press along with many other media organizations are agog and committing sotomy over this nominee. His Presidency has given us a woman with real-world knowledge, one who truly cares and is empathetic.

Let's put it this way, she has enjoyed the American Dream. She graduated from the Ivy League and sits as a judge. Through her push and self-interest, she overcame her existence (with the help of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness) and made a name for herself. OK, how does that make her more qualified to make a decision than a poor black man from Georgia, Justice Clarence Thomas. Ah, yes, because he is "conservative" and she is "progressive".

Many media outlets are praising His Presidency's choice of the first Hispanic justice. Racism is a tool of progressives for political gain. It's racist ONLY if the the perpetrator is conservative, Republican, or individualist.

As for reaching "a better conclusion", is she saying that if a latina had been on the court all this time, rulings would be different? Does this not undermine or keep in contempt the Court's previous rulings?

A last thought: Are not the progressives worried about loading the Court with Catholics? If sworn in, she will become the sixth Catholic Jurist, following the Papists Roberts, Scalia, Kennedy, Thomas and Alito. If His Presidency wants an empathetic Court, the Catholic experiences of these six would be worrisome to abortion-rights activists.

As a popular Denver radio talk show host, Mike Rosen, likes to say... "Let me tell you where I sit before I tell you where I stand." I sit as the smallest and, of late, the most discriminated minority in America, an individual.

The biggest influence in my life is my family. My great-grandfather came to America to work the coal mines of Southern Colorado. He saw the immense opportunities that this great land promised. It was truly the "Land of Opportunity". My grandfather, born in a coalmine camp, later became the owner of a grocery store and farm. My mother came to America in the 1960s for family and economic opportunity. Things were tough in the Old Country and my family members followed their own self-interest and they made it in America. They became a part of America; they wanted to melt into the pot of opportunity and not be the olives in the salad bowl of America. My wife's family came over in the 1700s from Northern Ireland for a better life.
The interminable human spirit, singular, has lead my family and I to a better life. I get my inspiration from them. I get my motivation from my wife and daughter.

The basis of our independence from Great Britain are rooted in truths that need NO proof. These were considered truths for everyone who is a rational and sane being. Unfortunately, if you only follow the pundits on the progressive news outlets, become mind-numbed by some progressive academic these truths are not necessarily self-evident anymore.

Even though the Founding Fathers had changed "pursuit of happiness" from Property, they still had this jab toward the slave-owning Southern Democrats (Don't mistaken this, in the end the Democrats tried to uphold slavery, the "original" Republicans demolished it). All men ARE CREATED equal. Equal regardless of skin color, eye color, hair color, gender, ethnicity, disability, or whatever you were physically born with.

We are all given these Rights by our Creator. We will forever have these Rights and only the One who gave them to us has the prerogative to take them away. Evil men will try and take these Rights and usurp the power of the One who gave them to us.

Life...I am against the abhorrent practice of killing unborn human beings. You can call me "pro-life", "anti-abortion", "against a woman's freedom to choose", I call it barbaric and macabre. I believe in the liberty of the individual and I believe that he should have the ability and freedom to choose his own destiny and...pursuit of happiness. I don't think these Rights were in a random order. Without Life, there are no other Rights, no life, no civilization, no point. You cannot pursue Happiness without Liberty (the ability to do freely as you would like, a state of freedom).

A socialist will tell you, "It's for the good of the whole." This will be at the expense of the individual, and the crisis of the whole will be perceived and not real. This is how a few will rule individuals.

I wish there was an Individualist Party to counter the Socialist Party (slowly forming from our two-party system).
